Both Grandmas, Halloween, Fun, Fun, Fun

Our life never seems to slow down long enough to write about it. Things have been crazy, busy, fun, happy, and every emotion possible this past month. I'll go backwards this time. Grandma Phister, Anna, Tenille, and Koban all came out to play with us here at the house. They got here Friday night and of course we stayed up till forever. (Mikey got home at 1am from a job and it was so good to see him! I'm glad we were still awake!) We sold Mom's seat belt purses at the Holiday Extravaganza here in town all day Saturday. That was way fun to just hang out and chat. While Tenille and I had the kids we decided to take them to see all the stuff there. Bad idea. Lincoln was terrible! While we were waiting in line, he was hitting anybody close enough and yelling, "Go away! Go away!" What an angel:)

(History on Lincoln: He stayed up late with the girls and played and ate candy. Therefore, he slept about 1 or 2 hours total the whole night. It was miserable! Mike and I both kept going up to his room. Very tired morning! Lincoln does not get to stay up late anymore! And might get naps cut out, which I'm very very very sad about.)

The expert one year old gamer. I was amazed at his controller skills, of course from his big brother Mason. And what a smile:)

Linc was so funny! He just kept smooching on Anna while they were here!

He was so tired when they first got here. But loved Quoi's pink horse.

Crazy boy! He had so much fun with everyone. As soon as he saw Grandma's face around the corner for the first time he yelled, "GRANDMA!! YEAH!!" It was priceless.

Showing off her Jesse outfit again.

We had to cut Linc's hair. I wanted to grow it out way long but Mike said he looked white trash, so he won. These are only the before pics, I forget I still need to get an after pic but he's sleeping right now. Soon. It is so stinkin cute now!

Before

Semi-before (the back was the worst with a little tail developing, no thank you!!)

Sequoia just hanging out on Daddy for a bit.

We only got to see Mike for a little while before he had to go out on another job. But it was time well spent, just hanging out. We even got to have an actual meal all together as a family at the dinner table too! He ended up leaving Saturday late afternoon for North Dakota and will be there for a few days. Then when that is finished and if he can still make it, he will drive by the house and get some clothes and go to Grand Junction, CO for a manager meeting. Never ending. Never sleeping. Phone never stops. Stress. Pretty much Mike's life these days. (We love you so much and miss you and are so grateful that you work so hard for us. Good luck with the job!)

Our day at home was a not so fun one. Potty training. Need I say more!? He peed 4 times in his pants and pooped once. Graphic to follow... But when am I not?? While I was cleaning him up the poop seriously fell on the floor, huge. I was already frustrated so guess who had to pick it up and put it in the toilet? Lincoln. And oh he was not happy! "Wash a hands! Wash a hands! Ah." Hopefully he will remember that and remember to go in the toilet next time! I HATE teaching a child to potty in the toilet. Enough said.

St. George! The weekend of the 6th we finally got some time off and spent it at the Goodmans. It had been 11 months, sad!! Mike's friend is going away to school and he went out with the boys, so luckily that was our excuse to go down. I shopped and loaded up on winter clothes we didn't have for the kids, we played lots of games, and got to spend a lot of time with Steve's family. It was so much fun! The kids just love Grandma and Grandpa, even though it took Sequoia a few days. She loved them just as much as Linc when we left. She's our Mommy's girl for sure. Now we can't wait for Christmas to have everyone there! Its gonna be a crazy one!

Kashlyn got into Grandma's purse and put on her "chapstick"! Awesome.

Mike, Linc and I all went with Steve, Kim and Kash to Fiesta Fun because Grandma had some awesome gift cards there. It was a blast and the kids were in heaven. We did lots of arcade games, the kids played in the soft play place full of urine stench, and rode on the water cars and go-carts. The kids came away with a bunch of prizes. It was a fun time. Linc was exhausted that night!

He was so cute on it!

Mommy and Linc on the water.

We were soaked, thank you Kim and Kash!

I had to get these tutu dresses! They were the roughest looking princesses ever! Quoi would NOT sit still for the picture! (A lot of the pics on here are horrible, PS, because it was taken on my phone.)

Aw... Harlee needs to be in pink more often:)

The kids in Grandma's awesome mini house in the backyard.

Little Sis cooking in the kitchen.

Kash and Harles, so cute!! The whole time we were there I kept thinking Harlee was Sequoia.

Grandpa reading Linc a bed time story.

The day before we were supposed to leave, Mike got sick with a stomach bug and ended up on the couch the rest of the day and into the night. Poor guy. Of course at the Goodmans, we got sick, when do we not?!! As we were debating whether to leave the next morning, Sequoia puked all over. So we got to stay an extra day. Linc got it later that night. What fun Mike and I had together:) When we did leave on Tuesday we made it all the way to Evanston and stopped to eat dinner. Linc puked all over my dinner in Wendy's. What a fun trip! I ended up getting it when we got home. In the end, Quoi threw up 11 times and Linc 3 times. Wow! But hopefully now for Christmas we wont be getting anything and spreading our love!:)

The trip home.

They are some pretty good travelers most of the time.

I had been so stressed and busy with our Young Women in Excellence program I was putting on with one of my girls. We were both doing it as a personal progress project. Wow! It sure was a lot of work, but well worth it and turned out great. The program was the night before we left for St. George, so that was a bonus to finish that and get to go play. It was pretty much my life for about 2 weeks. I love my second daughters and love to get to play with them so much.

I had so many balloons all over for the program, so the kids were so happy when I came home with them!

She loved the balloon tied to her bink.

Linc was awesome at jumping off the couch for the balloons!

Crazy boy!

Play time

The baby stroller suddenly became his Linc-drawn carriage:)

Happy Halloween!

I'm so sad I couldn't get better pictures of these two. They seriously never hold still for a picture, esp Sequoia. This is as good as it gets. But man they were so stinking cute!! We went trunk-or-treating and it was so windy and raining. But they still did great and looked like were still having a good time getting lots of candy. Daddy couldn't make it (Casper) so it was pretty rough with these two in that weather, but we survived!

Woody and Jesse!!

What a sweet girly boy:)

Linc thought Mommy should try it on too. I made the wig for Quoi just a couple hours before we left. I loved it.

Enjoying the candy!

She loved the costume (they still dress up in them).

Her open mouth smile is so cute.

Precious little girl with Daddy right after she woke up.

Grant got to come play with Linc and have a semi-sleepover at our house. Mike was so darn sweet to let me, Toni and a couple other girls go to the movies and he watched kids. Thanks so much sweetie! We saw Life as We Know It. It was so dang good! I laughed and bawled. I want to see it again!

My mom came out about a month ago now just because I wanted her to. I was so stressed and grouchy so she was so nice to come out and spend some time here at the house with us. Mike was home for some of the time so it was nice to show her that yes, I really and truly do have a husband;) We pretty much just worked on sewing purses for the craft fair, but it was good to get to sit and chat and have someone else around that I could have a real conversation with. Thanks Mom!!

I was taking pictures of a purse and Linc decided he needed to be in it too. What a handsome little guy!

Sequoia being silly

Linc is doing GREAT talking! He has learned so much in the last few months its crazy! I'm pretty sure by his 3rd birthday in a couple months he wont need to have the speech therapist come over anymore. She has been great with him.
