Snow With Grandpa Phister

On our way to my parents house, we stopped at my cousin Rachel's house and brought her lunch. It was a nice break to eat and feed the baby.  We then made it just about 10 miles outside of Meadow, UT (next to Filmore) before our tire blew on the freeway.  Awesome. We were safe, but had to take ALL our stuff out of the van to get the spare on. In Meadow we waited about 45 minutes to get a new tire. The baby slept the whole time, thanks Auri! We then stopped by Annie's house to drop off a couple things they forgot and I got to feed the baby again. We finally got to Grandma's for a late dinner. Great timing, fun road trip with my sweetie:)

Saturday morning we got family pictures taken, finally all of us together.  IT WAS FREEZING!  The kids were bawling from cold hands. I'm excited to see the pics and get to laugh at me yelling:) Hopefully I'll get to see the pics soon.

Sequoia is our snow girl. This girl could live in the snow.
She went outside to see what Grandpa was up to.

Snow angels

And sledding.  She loves her Grandpa:)

We played games (Wits and Wagers) and pretty much just hung out all day Saturday after the pictures were taken. It was nice to relax and spend time with some of my siblings. We went to church with my parents Sunday morning, then headed for home after sacrament meeting.  It was a great time getting to spend so much time with both our families and relaxing, but oh my how its nice to be home!! :)

Mike even let me stop in Green River at a gas station to see my old beautiful friend Amanda!  She moved to Oregon about a week after we moved to Casper so it was perfect to get to meet up for 15 minutes!!

Christmas!!

Darling outfit from Aunt Kimi:)

Aawww....that's my girl!

Aurora and Sequoia were sick with yucky nose, cough and some projectile vomiting from Auri the week before Christmas. It was a bummer week. I'm so glad everyone was feeling better by the time Christmas rolled around. Auri was NOT a happy camper while she was sick. She cried and cried and cried. Yeah.

Mike had to go to Denver for a few days right before we went out of town for the holidays. (He would have been home a day earlier but it was so windy on the roads while he was coming home in Cheyanne and almost spun off the road, so he stayed in Cheyanne over night.  So happy he's safe yet still love Wyoming:) We opened our Christmas presents right when he got home, packed the rest of our stuff, and left for St George that Friday afternoon. It was nice to open some gifts before so we didn't have to pack them with us. The kids each got a Leap Pad cartridge (Phineas & Ferb and Olivia) and some board games.  The Leap Pad games were PERFECT for the road trip!  And we found out that Aurora is great in the car traveling. She woke up every 3 hours to eat, but other than that, silent.  We were very grateful!

We got to my parents house almost midnight and crashed. Then Nana's family Christmas party was at Gorge and Julie's church (Daybreak) on Saturday.  We went and spent some time with everyone there.  It was fun to chat with my cousins I never get to see. We left the party a bit early and took off for St George for Christmas. A ton of driving, but so fun to see both Grandparents!

The munchkins getting ready for bed and listening to Grandpa read them a bedtime story.

Grandma had the magic touch with this little one. She finally stopped crying:)

She looks just like Sequoia here! Big eyes!

All the big cousins got to have a sleepover almost every night. It made for one crazy week!

On Wednesday, the day after Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids so Mike and I could go to the temple and do some sealings. It was a special time with my sweet husband. I'm very grateful we are members of the church and are worthy to be able to enter Heavenly Father's house, especially together. Best date I could ask for:)

We were going to go back to my parent's on Thursday, but there was a big snow storm that came through almost all of Utah, so we stayed another day. It worked out nice because Mike let me go out shopping all by myself for a few hours, then he went out and played with his friends that night.  Worth the extra night. We love spending time and playing games with family:)

Loving these munchkins!! And they absolutely love their baby sister.

 Ha ha, funny faces:)

Playing with baby while waiting for Jen to come pick them up from school.

Santa came to the kid's school!!
(I'm so sad almost half of the pictures on here are sideways!! It wouldn't let me fix it:(  )

Lincoln asked for a pogo stick

 Sequoia asked for another dino

Auri got to sit on Santa's lap too. She pretty much wanted a happy mommy for Christmas:)

Lincoln in such a great big brother.  Reading to his little sisters:)
