The Awesome Springs in St George

Yes, that is a cooler. Best parents ever right here! The kids ask to go swimming? Here ya go! You're welcome:) And look, they're happy.
Ok maybe Lincoln wasn't having the best time, but oh well!
Me and the kids have been growing our own seeds. Its so much fun! I'm still so amazed at the miracle of a tiny seed! I don't have a green thumb, but I sure wish I did!
Grandma and Grandpa are so funny! She sent me a couple pictures of her and Grandpa having a good time:)
Sequoia taking a picture of herself at church. (She was not with me!) But she is beautiful.

We went with Kim (Steve's now ex-wife:-( ) and the girls to the Main St Park. I love this one. Its the best one, but that of course means more people, so we don't make it there much. I wish I would have taken a picture with their cousins in them, but they sure did have a lot of fun playing together. And it was fun for me to sit and hang out with Kimmer:)

These two are such goof balls!

Papa's Funeral

Papa was starting to get very confused and Nana had to take him to a care center (where Kimi worked so she got to be with him until the end, lucky girl). He was only there a few weeks. I'm glad he went fast. I didn't like thinking about Nana having to watch her sweetheart pass. He was such a wonderful man. I sure loved Papa. And I'm so happy I was able to be at his funeral/graveside memorial, it was beautiful. And there was a tiny miracle for us that day. It was quite chilly during the service, but we still had some sunshine. As I was walking to my car to leave, it started to snow. I was grateful to my Heavenly Father at that very moment for allowing us time to gather and think about Papa without the snow.
It was a stinkin cold day! The kids were bundled all together to keep warm. They were so cute:) So we though I was there physically, I still had the three kids running around so I only got to hear a third of what was said. Mike couldn't make it.
Quite possibly the first time I've ever seen Taylor smile.
(Haha! Love you Taylor!)
Awe... such a cute little family.
Little lady in red:)
She was taking things from gravestones, running wild and crazy, and would scream if I touched her. Did I mention how much I love attending grandparents funerals with children? I still remember Grandma Letham's funeral being one of the worst/stressful days of my life.
Precious moment with Aunt Kiki.
A friend of my dad's from the mortuary did the services.

We all went back to Aunt Diane's townhome for a luncheon afterward. It was nice to be with my family and spend some time with them. I love them so much.
This was the last time we saw Kiki and Tanner! We went straight home to St George after Diane's house and they moved to Texas just a couple weeks after. Sad day! I still miss you Kiki! I hope one day we will be able to come out and visit you.
The whole family together:)
And thanks so much to Katelyn for holding this little stinker so we could get some pictures taken!

"There Was A Bee In My Ear"

Oh our sweet Quoi! After church, the Sunday before last, while we were walking out to the truck, Sequoia told me a story about a bee got in her ear. (All the while I'm thinking, "Oh she's so silly, bee's in ears... what a story! ;)") She kept telling me about her bee, and how it would be ok because it would go through her ear, down her throat, to her tummy, and she would poop it out. Haha, she makes me laugh! I love her!

So anyways, we went home and had a nice relaxing Easter Sunday evening home and being lazy. We were just reading books for bedtime when there was a knock at the door. ??  It was Sequoia's primary teacher. She said she'd been thinking about Sequoia all day and felt like she needed to come make sure she was ok. I had no idea what she was talking about.

Sister Koeven said Quoi told her she'd put a bead inside her ear and couldn't get it out.

A BEAD!! It was my Ah Ha moment. What a terrible mother. It was all making sense now. She told me but I seriously thought she was talking about a bee! My bad Quoi!  Sister Koeven said she looked in her ear and couldn't find anything, but still felt she should come check on her, just in case. Well I am so grateful her teacher listened to that still small voice of the Holy Ghost and obeyed. I peeked into Quoi's ear and what do you know?! There was a BEAD stuck clear up her ear.

Mike and I tried for a good hour to get that sucker out of there. I really didn't want to spend a ton of money at the ER, and the Instacare closed in an hour, so Mike took her in.  They were seriously only there 20 min from walking in the door, maybe even 15. The doctor flushed her ear out with some water a few times and it popped right out. Sweet, good to know because I'm should there will be a next time! She said it didn't even hurt:)  She was so happy when she came home with 4 Skylanders Swap-force stickers, 2 for her and 2 for Lincoln. What a little sweet heart. I love this girl to pieces!
It was a wonderful testimony builder and a much needed reminder for me about acting on the promptings from the Holy Ghost. Right away and not waiting and waiting till its too late or not as helpful. I'm so grateful for that extra help we receive while here on Earth:)

Our Baby Hazel and a Beautiful Easter Morning

Anna, Cory and our darling baby Hazel came to visit us the weekend before Easter Sunday. I just love to have people come visit us. It's a bummer we live so far away from everyone. Although I think I was so stressed trying to make sure they had a good time that I made them stressed because I was so stressed:/  I'm glad you still love me Anna! Come again, I promise I will sit down on the couch and hold still :)
Oh she is just so precious!
The kids absolutely loved having a baby in the house! They asked me when we were going to have another one. Hm... we aren't sure about that answer. Maybe in a couple years? Maybe only when people visit us with sweet little babies? We just don't know.
Rora just LOVES babies! She wants to hold every baby she sees. Even in sacrament meeting, if she sees a baby, she'll yell, "Baby! Baby!" One day it was while the sacrament was being passed. She is hilarious.
Sissy is a wonderful big sister!

Easter Morning:

I love holidays as a parent. Their magical little faces are priceless. I love these little children so much. It was fun to be with them and to especially get to enjoy the special holiday with Daddy home as well. (I'm still getting used to having him around for holidays!) And I love 1pm church time; we get to rest and lay around longer!
They got The Land Before Time from the Easter Bunny.
And some super sweet lego candy pieces as well!
