Hangin out cont...

Mike got to come home for a whole night! Yea! He actually came home with the idea he was going to get called out w/in the hour, but he made it till while he was at the shop the next day. It was fun to get to spend some time w/my sweetie:) He went to Colorado and hoping he'll be home Mon or Tues. He's such a good hard worker. We are so proud of you Mike for all you do for us... While he was sleeping Thursday evening after he got home, me and Lincoln went to my friend Lindsey's little girl's birthday party at a park here in town. It was fun to get out and play.

K, I don't know much about 2 year olds, but I'm sure they don't play w/barbie dolls yet. But I just couldn't help but get him! It's Robert (Patrick Dempsey) on Enchanted! I just loved it! (and of course I'm all Grey's lately, so I had to get Patrick!)

The birthday girl, Kadrie:)

Sweet little princess

My friend Toni and her little Grant and me and Linky (It was so windy! But of course I live in Wyoming, when is it not!)

Mom and Linc

It was Flaming Gorge Days this weekend. They had a parade, 5K run, concert, games, whatever. With everything going on I had a heck of a time finding someone to watch Lincoln; I had to work today. I finally found Meghan, a girl in my young womens. She watched him, then when she went to the parade, her mom did, then when she had to go to work, they walked him down to a friend of mine down the street, Melissa. Poor boy! Getting hauled around all over!

I started to think today that maybe I shouldn't be working and be a perm stay-at-home mom. But then I thought of the advantages. Lincoln gets to get out of the house away from Mommy and gets to play w/other adults, kids, babies, and puppies. I want him to like people and not be a mommas boy. And honestly I like to get out and do something for myself too. As long as he is in good hands, I will.

I found out that he loves dogs! He was giggling so hard when I picked him up today. It was so darn cute! He was crazy today! Just so excited and happy. He fell asleep so early tonight, probably wore himself out from being a spaz! He has slept through the night, minus 2 nights, since he was 3 months old, and still takes like 3 naps during the day. I love my sleepy little man!

Anyways, I am getting so excited for next weekend! I just really hope Mike can be off. It is his days off, but lately that doesn't matter. It's my fam reunion in Riverton, UT the 3rd and 4th. Then Mike's parents are coming later on the 4th from St G and we are bringing them home w/us. I just hope Mikey can come! But it's ok if it doesn't work out that way, as always and forever, I will still love you:)

Stinkin Lincoln
(K, poor kid now has a sad nickname! That's ok he can totally pull it off)

I love it; he just goes to town on his little toesies

HELLO!!
Oh yea! I feel so bad! Right before I took this picture, I accidentally dropped the camera on his tummy! I thought he was going to cry, but just kept smiling. You can't see it too well, but his tummy is red. Sorry Lincoln!!

K and while I have been sitting here typing away my friend, Brenn, came over and apologized for last minute but asked me to be the Primary Chorister for church tomorrow. It's just way funny because I said last week that is the one calling that I would not ever want! Scary!! (and of course teaching Gospel Doctrine) I said yes but am so so nervous now! I guess it helps that we only have about 10 kids in our ward in primary. Whatever, still scary!!

Hangin out

Mikey left again Tuesday morning and should be home tomorrow. Yeah! It's so exciting waiting for him to come home! I only work Mon and Sat this week. It's been so nice to get a lot done around the house. We don't even have children running around messing things up, yet somehow it is a disaster all the time! That's usually my life, cleaning. But I enjoy it so it's no big deal. When Mike leaves, Grey's Anatomy is my best friend. I get all the seasons at the library and watch them. I love it! My mom bought the game Grey's Ana. and I played w/the twins last week. It was so much fun! Yes, I'm lame.

Me and Linc went to the Child Dev Center for some more PT yesterday. He is doing much better. His head still looks bad to me, but she says it's looking good. His neck is not tight anymore. He has full range of motion w/his sweet little head. Yeah! At least we're doing something right! Yesterday evening I took Linc w/me and we headed to the Green Belt w/my friend Toni. Green River has a lot of running trails all over town and it is a section of one that runs along the river. We ran a little over 3 miles. Nice way to start out. I am so darn sore! I do Taebo (yes, again, I am lame), but I haven't ran in over 2 years! And it's dang hard w/a stroller. Hopefully I can keep it up. When Mike is in town he is so good about getting up way early and going to the gym. Then sometimes he'll even go back later that same day after work w/his friends and play racquetball. He's so good; I'm trying to keep up w/him!

I watched my friend Lindsey's kids today. She made me dinner and then we did a tradesies and she kept Lincoln for me while I went and played w/bows and arrows w/the young women. It was alright. I broke a bow and it snapped on my hand. Ouch! I'm just up still and trying to get things done for Mike tomorrow. And thought I'd chat a bit:)

I sneaked into Linc's room and got a quick pic of him. This is my favorite time of day. I love to just stand there by his crib and watch him. He's such a sweet little boy:)

Ft Bridger

First of all I just want to say "Yeah! Mikey is home!" (At least for now:)) He's been gone since last Thursday in North Dakota on a job and helping cover their shop up there. We sure did miss him!! He actually did come home Monday night, as I was getting off work. He came in, showered, packed clean clothes, I got a smooch, and headed out the door on another job. I'm so glad that he likes his job. I'm happy when he's happy. Me and Lincoln had some fun though; it was alright. He got home yesterday (Friday). Yeah! It was actually Mike's days off, but they needed him up there. We were planning on him watching Linc while I worked this week and last. I'm so lucky I have great friends here to watch him last minute! I had to work quite a bit this week. Lincoln has been a trooper. I'm so glad he's not in that Stranger Danger stage yet! He's just whatever!

He's getting to be such a big boy. He can sit up by himself for about 10 sec now. He thinks he's just the cutest thing!

Linc and his Uncle Ty

He's gonna be a soccer player just like his daddy!

And thinks that's just great!

Mommy's little sweetie

I didn't have to work the Saturday before last so me and Linc packed up and spent the day at Ft. Bridger. It's about a 45 min drive. My parents, Ty, and Daniel were there. Anna showed up later. It was a small little thing they were doing at the Ft that weekend. My family does a lot of Civil War reenactments and rendezvous. Me and Linc would have dressed up too, but I didn't even think about it. But we had fun just hangin out and we both got some good sun. It was the longest Linc had been outside so far. I also took Linc into the museum there. Just FYI, don't touch the display manikins! The alarm will sound! Oops!

They are some friends of my fam's. She is 5 years old and is excellent on the fiddle. I thought it was amazing!

Grandpa in his uniform

Aw, so cute:)

When we got home w/Linc's red little cheeks

It was a pretty busy few weeks, but it was fun to hang out w/just me and Linc. He's such a chunk! And he finally rolled over. He did when he was 3 months for a few days, then quit. Now he is rolling from back to front. Which is so funny because he hates to be on his tummy a lot, so when he rolls on it he screams after a bit. I think it's funny because he does it himself, but he looks at you like, Rude!

Mike was gone for Father's Day, but we got to talk to him on the phone and I emailed some pictures. He sure is a wonderful Daddy; we love him so much!

It was great! Last Sunday Toni and Nathan watched Linc all day. They must have had lots of fun, because when I brought him home, this kid was out for more than 3 hours on the couch! He woke up for about an hour, and slept all night. He was exhausted! I just love sleeping babies!!

Bath Time!

Mommy and Lincoln saying Hi to Daddy!

He just can't get enough of his toes.

While Mike was gone I decided to go to my parents for just a couple days. We just hung out and played. I also was in such a crazy mood to shop! It was fun. I also am so so happy! Lincoln has had the same blue used to be soccer ball binky forever. It's the only one he will take. (That's why in almost every picture it's the same one!) Nana (my grandma) got it at a dollar store for my baby shower. So I finally went to one in Utah and found them! It was a feel good moment:) So I bought 3 more soccer ones and 2 baseball ones. We are prepared!

We went to Ty's Posse practice. Lincoln sure did like the horses. He just kept smiling that them when we got close. I grew up w/them, so it's weird that now I'm scared of them. I was so nervous watching little kids riding them everywhere! I haven't let Lincoln on a horse yet w/someone, but I will one day... After that Anna and I went to Golden Spike and played a softball game w/Daniel. They needed 2 extra girls. I was so darn nervous! I haven't played in forever! But it turned out to be way fun. It's making me want to go play again!

It was a fun couple weeks, but I am so happy that Daddy is home!!!

Lincoln didn't like the metal spoon I was using and wouldn't eat, so I fed him w/my finger. It worked.

He's such a darling little boy:)

Grandma w/Linky

Sunday: June 22, 2008 Same suit, just w/out the jacket today. And his new binky; it's so weird that it's not blue!

We sure do love our little man.

St. George

Well, well! It has sure been a lot in 3 weeks. I need to do better at keeping up! First of all, the twins graduated!! Go Anna and Kim! Wahoo! Me and Linc got to go to there graduation. They had a little get together party after at my parents house. It was pretty fun, other than the fact that Lincoln screamed almost the whole time! Not fun. Anna used to want bunches of children; she's thinking that over now. It was great, during the ceremony Daniel fed him and he fell asleep in his arms. It was the most joyest hour after all that screaming! Thank you! The party was fun. Grandpa had his wagon out and tent stuff. It looked pretty cool. There was a bonfire and smores after. Yum! We are just so proud of the girls...

Papa, Dan and Linc

Anna w/grumpy Lincoln

The whole fam dam (except Mikey-at work)

Bonnie getting Linky to settle down (and Ty about to go crazy!)

And yeah!! Grandpa finally got him to sleep, it was like past 11pm by then

St George!!

Mikey got off work Wed evening and we headed out. It was snowing when we left. Crazy. For about 2 hours Lincoln screamed once again. It was such a fun ride. We made it to Gary and Susan's a little after midnight. It was such a fun trip! We played games, chatted forever, went to Grandma Goodman's and did a whole bunch of yard work. I guess I should say they did. I stayed in w/the kids. And I bet I was just as tired when we left as everyone who was out side. Lincoln's boring and just lays around and stares at things. I'm going to miss this stage!! I'm not ready for the walking around kids yet. It was a fun reunion getting to see everyone we see once a year. My favorite part about the reunions is Canasta w/the girls!! Esp Aunt Mindy:)

Rachel (Ty's girlfriend) w/Linc. She was so wonderful w/him and all the kids! I really like her!

Annie w/little Noah

Peyton, he is a cutie!!

Tyler and Lincoln. Tyler was also a good babysitter!

I can usually find Mike at these reunions takin a nap somewhere in the corner:)

He's always so happy to get pictures:)

Scott and his girlfriend Christine. She's so sweet.

Tyrel, Rachel, Sarah, Tosha, and babies

Haha!! Kissing Cousins!! Logan and Kash Funny but not funny...

Mikey in the corner again:)

The Mike Goodmans

I thought it was so cute Linc and Logan were matching that day!!

DeAnna's cute little Donovan

My sweet Gracie

Me and my cousin Sarah, who is married to Mike's cousin Jason. A little crazy. Their Noah is just 5 weeks older than Linc. It's been fun to have kids about the same time. Me and Sarah used to live together in St G. Now we are way far, so it's fun to have two family reunions to get to chat. (When we both make them!)

K Raquel, you can close your mouth! (I do that a lot)

The Other Grandma Goodman's

It's always so much fun for our family to all get together, and it doesn't happen much. Kim put together a tournament of tournaments for us. (We just had to leave in the middle and ruin it though, but it was ok, we just took away the competition! Right.) Badminton, Snitch Pitch, and Canasta. Yes Kim and Steve won the first two, big surprise! But we beat them in Canasta, that's right!

Steve helped them put in some new grass and it is wonderful! They also bought the cutest airplane teeter-totter for the grandkids. I love it! It was big enough for all the girls to play on it.

My cute little fat man!!

Grandma and Grandpa had the kids while we played a round in the tourni. And it's a good thing Lincoln was outside. That boy definitely needs a tan!

Grandpa and Linc. He's sure not used to the sun yet, Mommy is a home body. I'll try to do better this summer.

We left the tourni early to go out to dinner w/the Crowthers. It was so good to see them all! (Except Jared, at work) We went to Cafe Rio, my favorite!, and just hung out and chatted.

Brandon and Linc

Lindsey and Linc

Kim w/Linky

And Nana Kay w/the little man

All of us:)

Me and Lincoln went to visit Shelley in her house they just moved into. It is so cute! We have not even painted one wall yet and hers was so cute from ceiling to floor! It was fun to get to chat w/her. We also used to live together. I sure miss Shelley, she's been a good friend. I didn't get to see her little man, Breckin, he was napping.

No makeup picture:)

Lincoln has learned so much this month it is scary! He's a brand new boy! I'm sure he'd do even better, but I'm a bad mommy at putting him on his tummy. But we are working on it! Just while we were at Grandma Susan's he started lifting his cute little tushie up trying to scoot forward. He also can sit up w/his arms holding his body for about 10 sec. One baby step at a time. Every little milestone is so fun for mom and dad:)

He also wasn't feeling the best when we got to Grandma's. He started coughing quite a bit and puke back up everything he'd just eaten. He was pretty congested, didn't eat well at all, and was just a fussy little monster. I took him in to the Instacare down the street. We just thought he inherited his daddy's acid reflux and I was just gonna see if they had any medicine for him, but it ended up he had just a mild case of RSV. Lots of fluids and suction. And in just a few days, he was much better...

Mesquite!

I would have to say that my very favorite part of the trip was Mesquite. Me and Mikey left Lincoln in the good hands of Grandma Susan and spent 2 nights down there. It was wonderful! No pictures. We layed out in the beautiful sun for hours while I read Harry Potter (7). I got an hour message, heaven! We ate at the buffet a couple times, not the best. We kept showering so much going back and forth because of the yucky cigarette smell on our clothes. And we played lots of games. I've always liked Hundred Hand poker, but now I have a new favorite! Black Jack was so fun! I see how it can get addicting. It's a darn good thing we don't live anywhere near Nevada!

I really just enjoyed spending time w/Mike. I love him so much. He's the best husband anyone could ask for. He is my very best friend. I really got lucky w/him. It was nice to have that time to ourselves for just a bit. It seems like here at home one or the other is always gone somewhere. Anyways, it was a just a wonderful time! We stayed one more night at Grandma's, played Canasta, and headed home the next morning. As much fun as we have, it's always nice to be home.

Home

My brother has been w/us since last Sunday. Mom is on her way today to come pick him up. It's been fun having him here. I'm not so sure how much fun he had. I'm boring, no Dishnet, every once in a while annoying crying baby. He mowed the lawn and helped out w/the house and watched Lincoln quite a bit for us. I sure appreciate him. Me and Linc met Dad, Mom, Anna, and Ty in Evanston to bring him here. They all got to see Stinkin Lincoln (he's not going to like that!) It was good to see them all. I just feel so bad. When I travel w/him for longer distances he's a grumpy face! So almost every time my fam sees him he is.

Anna and Linc

Grandma w/the stinker

Ha Ha! He has poky out ears! K and seriously he looks like Jack Jack on the Incredibles! The twins and Ty mentioned that to me a while back. I watched it, the only Disney movie we have so far, and he totally does! Esp when he turns into crazy monster! I'll have to steal a pic of him when he's grumpy face.

He's usually happy go lucky at home. I love his fat little legs!

Mommy w/her baby

Lincoln had fun w/his Uncle Ty:)

Yesterday for Church

Tenille and Jon bought Lincoln the cutest baby suit when he was born and now he finally fits it! I wanted to wait until Father's Day next week, but I have to work, so we put it on him yesterday. Man oh man was he a cutie!! I just love it! He is a miniature of his daddy! And of course I just had to get lost of pictures! These pictures are rare. If anyone knows Mike, he hates pictures! He must have been in a really good mood yesterday and really love me to stand there in the kitchen and let Ty take the pics! Thank you so much Mikey! I love them! I just couldn't resist; my boys were so handsome!:)

Linc was so proud of himself

Linc is so solid! They were getting pretty tight around the waist but still not quite long enough yet. That's ok! He's built like his parents!

Oh I just want to squeeze him...

and suck on that cute little face of his!

Our Family:)

I just love my boys so much!!

Ok just a few quick notes... I finally finished the Harry Potter series and am so so sad they are over! I just loved them to pieces! Maybe one day (in many years) I can read them again. I read the first 2 Twilight books over Christmas. The second one was so darn depressing that I didn't go right on to Eclipse. But now that school is over I'm all about books, so I pulled it out. It started out horrible! I am so frustrated w/this stupid love triangle going on! I was not excited, but I must admit, it got much better and now I'm a freak waiting for the last one!! August!!! Now I'm reading The Wealthy Barber decades later. It's a pretty smart read! Everyone should read it.

Anyways, I also got a job! It's not even as an Xray Tech, how sad it that! I plan on it in the near future though. But what I have now is in Home Health taking care of an older woman in her home. I think I'm really going to enjoy it. I start tomorrow. I'll usually be working 3-9pm, perfect timing for me! My wonderful friend Marlene is going to be watching Lincoln. I'm so glad that she is willing! Of all of my friends here, she is honestly my first pick! I don't worry about Linc at all.

I'll try to keep in touch more often in the future; this is how I always am w/journals, everything all at once. Less detail rubbish:)
