Welcome Home Little Sister (:

Mike, Auri and I came home to a wonderful surprise!  A big poster drawing with pictures and lots of gifts.  Oh how it is good to be home!  This is the shortest hospital stay we've had.  We went home the next evening.

It is so much fun having her in our home:)

Grandma's been exhausted watching the kids.  They look so cozy.

Her first little sponge bath.  She obviously loved it!

Quoi has become Mom's super little helper!  Thank you sweetie, it makes Mommy so happy!

She's becoming a pro diaper changer!

Loving my girls!!

Koban and Sequoia got along so well.  Yah!

Oh I'm so in love with this little girl!

Lincoln is more of the observer (I thought it would be opposite with the kids).  But he sure loves his baby sister too!

Aunt Tenille loving on baby:)

Since we came home a bit earlier than expected, they all went home a day early (Friday).  I really was sad to see them go.  Mom and Tenille cleaned so much and the kids had a blast with them. And they cooked so much, probably the thing I loved the most!  Cooking isn't my favorite thing in the world.  It was so nice to not have to worry about that. Even though I was sad to see them leave, it was nice to have a whole day of just our cute little family spending time together.  We love having this little girl in our home finally!! We all love you so much baby Auri:)

Baby Aurora Is Here!!

Our little girl has arrived!

November 13, 2012
7lbs 10oz, 1:45pm

She is one chunky little girlfriend.  Love her!!

Once we made it to the maternity floor and were settled, everyone came to meet her.  The kids were so cute!  (I have a super cute video of them coming in to see her for the first time, but it won't upload on here.  Bummer.)  They were so cute with her and so excited to hold her.

Grandma & Baby Aurora

Aurora got them both little gifts:)

Sequoia has amazed me!  Mike and I thought she would be a little more hesitant around her.  Nope!  She has been super helpful!  Changing diapers, bathing, holding and playing with her.  I love it!  She is a wonderful big sister.

Lincoln was too excited to wait to read his Star Wars book from Aurora.  (And I think with all the excitement and craziness with the baby, he wanted to snuggle with mom.)

He is a wonderful big brother:)

I think Koban was more adoring over her then the kids.  It was cute.

Our new little family:)

Daddy is the best diaper changer!  I think I changed her diaper once while we were in the hospital.

Her awesome head!! Poor little girl!  She had a huge bruise for a week.

Tenille, Koban, & Grandma!

Grandma, Tenille, and Koban were all planning on coming the Sunday before we induced, but there was a snow storm that came, so they came Thursday!  I'm so glad they did!  I was happy to be able to spend time with them before baby. Mike let us go shopping and watched the kids, Grandma let Mike and I go out on 2 dates, and the kids all had a great time together.  And best of all, they cleaned like crazy constantly.  I am so grateful!!

Grandpa got the kids a fishing game.  They loved it.

Baby Auri in Mommy's belly the day before she came:)

The kids all had a blast making brownie pops with Tenille.  Yummy!

Quoi's Echo & Halloween Fun!

About a month ago, Sequoia had an echo done on her heart.  She's had a heart murmur since she was born, and it still hadn't gone away, so the doctor ordered an echo just to double check.  We were going to sedate her because she is terrified of doctor's offices and people touching her.  So we were in a pediatric room in the hospital for a couple hours waiting for the sedation.  After a long time and we still hadn't gotten the order to sedate her, the tech went ahead and tried it with her awake.  She was fantastic!  She seriously held still for 50 minutes.  I was so proud of my girl:)

We got the results back and they are all normal.  She just has an innocent hear murmur:)

Happy Halloween!
Lincoln and Sequoia had a fun trunk or treat at their school.  Mommy got to go give out candy.  It is always so fun for me to get to see them at school.  They looked great!
Our Hulk

The cutest Batman ever.

Sequoia's teachers were awesome!!

Our ward had a trunk or treat that night.  The youth were in charge of it.  Mike was over the spook alley and he did a fantastic job!  Sequoia cried, I shouldn't have let her go through it, whoops!

I sneaked a couple pictures of Mikey, he looked great!

She got to decorate cookies and color pumpkins while Lincoln went through the spook alley like 4 times:)

He couldn't have his mask at church, so he loved his face painted!

A few days after Halloween, we finally carved the pumpkins!

Love my boyish girl:)
