Scattered Memories

Lincoln being cute while we wait in the doctor's office.
Grandma and Grandpa Phister came to visit!! We love being with them! Thanks for driving all the way. We love you.
Classic Aurora's face while "playing" with other babies. Mya is our friend across the street. It's fun to have a little one Auri's age she can play with sometimes.
This girl is a playdough queen!
We had to get a new mattress when we moved in here because our old one's in Casper didn't fit in the moving truck and sold them there. So we upgraded to a King (which by the way is sometimes too big, Mike seems so far away now!).  And so darn, I just had to buy a new bedspread for it. I love it! And I finally got to hang my "head board" pieces I made a few years ago. Yay!

Quoi got an awesome shiner! (At the moment I can't recall what happened:/)

Happy Smiles, Baby Showers and Sister Time!!

I love this cute boy's missing a tooth smile. You are loved our sweet boy:)
What a beauty! As "boyish" as this girl wishes, she is all girl in looks and attitude. Love you!
Rocking out in the pjs! With Auri just tagging along as usual.
She is beginning to climb on EVERYTHING! She has become such a handful, I can't keep my eyes off of her for 10 seconds or she's climbing up something dangerous.

I had been planning on Anna's baby shower for maybe two months. Of course the weekend of her shower, a big storm was coming through, so I sadly had to cancel. I was super bummed! Because we had planned on all the sisters and Mom to get together for a super fun night. So on that Saturday, the weather was good enough so we packed as fast as we could and raced to North Ogden. Seriously almost the entire state, sheesh! I made it right on time (should have been there an hour early, but we made it!) What a fun time with family, friends, aunts, cousins,  and babies all over!

In the crazy of getting there I had my Mom and Annica pick me up so I could "quickly" put together my baby diaper cake I'd been planning on making for her. And this was the result...
Haha! You're welcome Anna. ;) It was a funny looking baby, but I was feeling so good thinking of such a cute thing for her. That is until Tenille walked in while I was mid stuffing my baby with a SUPER cute baby diaper cake, way better than I'd be able to make. Dang. We laughed so hard! One, that it was hilarious that we both thought of the same thing! Two, the different in us. Me coming in like a crazy tornado, stuffing my baby while everyone is sitting in a circle, my kids running wild and crazy, not prepared. Tenille coming in, everything all together and calm. One day, I will be calm and organized. If only in my dreams, one day! ;)
She was DONE. Poor kids, dragged every where that day. She was hungry, needed a nap or to just go to bed, and a grouch. So of course I was even more stressed with a crazy baby to chase.
We love you Anna! Can't wait to hold my sweet baby niece!!

And now for one of the best nights ever! Once I dropped my children off to Grandpa and Ty Ty, I was a different person. We all got babysitters and met up at Iggy's for some yummy food. And who would happen to be our server that night?? Monica Martinez!! I was thrilled. Monica and I were best friends since the 3rd grade. Inseparable till high school. It was so much fun to see her. And her little sister Melanie works there too and was there that night. We had such a wonderful time. I really miss Monica. (I think it was on Quoi's 3rd birthday Monica and I went out with Sequoia to Ihop and had a yummy breakfast and got to catch up on the years.)
And I love how grumpy me and my sisters are when we are hungry! It is blah, until that delicious food is running down my tummy. Then PRESTO! A changed human being! Happy and fun loving instead of a demon:)
Me and my cute family:)
Melanie and Monica:)
Me and my oldest bestie:)

We went The Hampton Inn (if my memory is correct!) after dinner and we all stayed in a big huge suite! Tenille and Jon happened to have a gift card from a customer for one night in their biggest suite. So they were so sweet to share with us! I loved it! We sat around just chatting in our PJs till later into the night. I love my mommy and my sisters so much. What a wonderful time to spend with them.  I was so lucky to sleep in between my mom and Kimi and got to listen to Mom snoring all night. So between pushing her and yelling at her to stop (I'm a very mean person in the middle of the night) I didn't get much sleep. But it was totally worth it! And Mom, yes I still love you, I just hope you still love me! ;)

Happy New Year & Birthday!

My favorite time of the year! I love January. I get to start all over and try again. And of course it's Lincoln and my birthdays! I love getting to almost share birthdays with my cute boy. It's a special time:)

We got to go to Aunt Annie's house for New Years Eve. It was a lot of fun. She actually took the kids earlier on that day so we could be childless while we moved! All our stuff was packed into two storage units. So all day that Tuesday (NYE), Mike, me, Susan, Gary, Morgan, and Scott loaded everything up into the big huge truck we rented and put everything into the garage of our place. We had to make two trips because we have way too much stuff. It was a long day. But it nice to know that the carpets were still drying from being cleaned so we couldn't unpack everything till Wednesday. So we just got to dump and run:)

We made it to Annie's about 6pm that night. The kids played and played while the adults also got to play. We made it till midnight, yeah! Then Mike and I took Auri (while the big kids got to stay and have a sleep over) and we went back to Grandma Goodman's for one more night. We finished up everything we could that morning and when Gary and Susan brought the kids home from Annie's, we headed off to get our home ready to be ours! It's been a great place so far!
The entire brood, minus Auri (sleeping) and Ada (far away:( )
It was a fun and crazy night. We are working on Lincoln chewing with his mouth CLOSED;)

I had a wonderful birthday on the 3rd. It was a pretty normal routine during the day. The kids were so cute and sweet to me for my birthday. I loved it! As soon as Lincoln saw me he started to sing. Sweet pie! Later that night Mike let me go out with my girl friends. It was great! We went to Chili's because I had to have my Molten Chocolate Cake on my birthday. (Which is later where I realized I accidentally left my debit card there at the table and in the end weeks later of it never reappearing, we had to cancel the cards and get new ones, blah!) Then we went to the movies to see Saving Mr. Banks. I loved it and cried. It was a good reminder that I need to be a better parent.
I love my friends:) Annie, me, Shelley and Amy

Happy Birthday to my boy on the 4th! His birthday fell on a Saturday, so he didn't get to go to school and be with all his friends, so instead we went to the Cottonwood Cove Park and met up with AJ and Allie, Lincoln's friends from Arrowhead. I got to sit and chat with their mom, Sarah. He was happy:)  He also wanted Brecken to come, but he was sick:(

We didn't do a friend birthday party this year. Last year was way too crazy, I need a couple more years of rest. But we did get to have our own little family party and he was super happy.
He got to wake up to a delicious cookie and milk for breakfast.
 Our big 6 year old!
Oh I love this girl's face! She's been so much fun to have in our family:)
Sequoia, AJ, Anna, Lincoln and Allie
Sarah holding Auri. It was a chilly, windy day so she wasn't the happiest.
Lincoln wanted to make another Batman cake for his special day, so Quoi helped Mommy. It was fun to do something for him with her.
Our finished work. With Quoi's awesome chocolate/smartie lego piece to go with it:)
They love their Daddy! Lincoln is going to be just like him. He's got his brains already!
And that night while Daddy was brushing his teeth, they noticed Linc's first loose tooth! Lincoln is so excited! I can't believe how big my boy is!
