Bar Nunn, WY

Gooners!
We were shopping for some shirts for Mike and the kids found ways to keep themselves entertained. They just make me laugh!

A few weekends ago we decided to get to work on the basement and put it baseboards. I still have finished my job of sanding them down and touching up with paint, but it is looking better! And I actually want to be in the basement now. Now we just need family to come visit to see our work!:)

My scanner is being lame, so later I'll post some pics of how the upstairs looked before we got to work. Its been fun to have our house and work on it to make it ours! There are 5 bedrooms, 2 baths up, 1 roughed in bath down (one day), and we actually have 2 living/family rooms instead of 1 as before and a garage. We are loving it!

Actually, its sad. The power went out today, and since I've never had a garage of my own, I freaked out thinking I couldn't drive the car today because it was stuck in the garage and the door wouldn't open. I called Mike and he set me straight quick. Whoops! I rely so much on the lazy man's way, I don't think about the hard way:) So I just left the garage door open after we left because why would I want to get out and shut it, then open it again when I got back?? :)

Some pictures of the basement before:

And the basement after:

I love my purple room! I'm so happy Mike suggested it, let alone gave me permission. Thank you so much! We got new couches too. It took forever, but I finally found my perfect purple pillows.

As you can see, Lincoln is in almost every picture. He followed me everywhere. I'm sure he's so tired. He looks so precious. (And he loves green apples)

I love how open the room is. I'm not sure what will be on this side, but I'm sure something will find its place there.

Don't mind the mess! Still not finished, but progress!

This room is a storage room with some shelves and a utility sink. It will be great for future, but it is so dirty I haven't stomached myself to clean it yet. I like a clean house, so I just pretend it doesn't even exist yet:) But I think I will love it when it is clean!

Down the hall to 2 bedrooms and unfinished bathroom

This is the back room, soon to the guest bedroom. We had to move everything away from the walls. This is my project before we get visitors!

Quoi loves to feed Mickey and her animals. She is a wonderful cook!:)
The other room downstairs is now the toy room/computer room. It will be a while before I get around to decorating this room, but one day.

She is going to be a great Mommy:)

Pictures of half of the house upstairs (bedrooms and outside to come):

The front entryway, front door to right, garage door to left. I usually am not a fan of split levels, but I love this one! There is plenty of room so you don't feel crammed when you walk in (there is more area behind wall to left)

View from front entryway.

Down the hall to our 3 bedrooms upstairs, bathrooms and laundry room the area to the first right.

The kid's frog bathroom that they love. Lincoln jumping! He totally looks like his cousin Logan!

The kitchen. I love all the counter space. Just not a fan of the green counter tops, and the green carpet too!

The living room
(I hope I can post the pictures of the house before! Yellow and green walls! I really like the gray tones compared!)

The way the house looks when I want to take a picture...

The way the house looks.

At least they are cute! Lincoln is into pillow fights right now.

I know this area is ugly! There is a small doorway area connected to the toy room downstairs. It was one of my favorite things about the house! If you go in through the hole on the right...

we have this area. There is so much storage space down here!

It would have been super cool to finish it and make it a kid's play area, but I think I like having a storage area more:)

Quoi is reading to monkey:)

Painting turned into body painting. I put them in here so I didn't have to stress (as much:)

They really are so silly!

There was a storm outside. After wondering what happened to Mike, I found him enjoying it:)

Part of the backyard.

This is what happens to the play dough when Mommy walks away for 2 minutes.

A Whole Bunch of Everything... And Happy Birthday Quoi 2 months ago!!

It has been so crazy her birthday was June 23 and I'm just posting:(

Her Minnie Cupcake Cake!
Lincoln had a Mickey one so she wanted a Minnie one. She was so happy and got to help with the decorating.

Our grouchy princess on her day:)

Party at Hoover Park:

What a princess. She had such a good time with all her closest friends:)

She loves necklaces!

Grant, Aiden, Inara, Carter, and Jackie's kids all helped open the gifts. She loved it.

The GUITAR! I made the mistake of saying in the store, "Ok Sissy, pick out whatever you want." She knew exactly what she wanted, even after I tried to lead her into a different choice. Nope, the guitar. She still loves it, so it was worth it.

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!"

Our princess with an attitude!

She had a wonderful birthday and loved that she got to be with all her friends on her day!

They both LOVE playing with tea set. I love their delicious "cakes" and "milk." The best chefs:)

She loves her stuffed dolls.

Loves chocolate!

As much as I try, she still ends up looking like this after almost every meal.

Our baby Quoi is precious.

We went to the parade here in Casper. It was 3 hrs long, so no, we did not make it through the whole thing. But it was fun!

These pics were on my phone. Some more of our "goodbye pictures"

Aw... just makes me sad!

We will always love Inara:)

They still ask about Inara, and are so excited to get to go to her house next week!

They love to drive their friend Zora's car around when we go play. (a Casper friend)

The Splash Park/Flaming Gorge Days

I think the splash park is what they miss most about Green River. Especially Sequoia, that girl loves swimming and water!

Lincoln went down the huge slide over and over. I was impressed. I went down once and was terrified.

Nerd:)

Lincoln's first Dental Check-up. My friend Lyndsay cleaned his teeth. She was super impressed by how good he was! She said usually kids wont let them do anything, but they even got x-rays of him too. I was a proud Mamma:)

He even got to hold the suction and do it all by himself. Pro.

I walked in the kitchen to this wonderful mess. What else can you do by then but take a picture? These two and chocolate!! Definitely their mother's child:)

My favorite time of the day:)

I wish I could have taken more pictures!! This was from the Nana Family Reunion. It was so fun to hang out with everyone. And I'm so sad that we lived next to Crystal Hot Springs while growing up and never even knew about it! I loved it! It was quite brown water, but natural so what do you expect? The kids had a great time and loved swimming, being with grandma and grandpa for so long, and eating till they were sick.

We stayed at the campground at Crystal. Not all the extended family got to come but I'm so happy my family could all be there and we could chat (of course minus Jon and Mike:) And as always me and camping don't always work out so I was a bit/a lot stressed, but I was so happy to be there. And the kids especially to be around other people other than their mom the whole time! They did great camping.

I was sad that was the same weekend I got released from YW. It was so hard to leave the girls. I knew it was coming since we were moving, but it still didn't make it any easier. I will miss them!

I don't remember if I posted these pics earlier or not from months ago. Annie bought some pill things, put them in water, and they turn into spongy animals. The kids were fascinated!

Lincoln and Damon are so cute together:)

I miss Linc's long hair!

Love the morning sleepy eyes!

I cut my hair!!

I had been wanting to donate my hair forever now. After a few years of talking about it and convincing Mike, I decided I was doing it! I went to a day spa/salon thinking it should be pretty good. One of the worst days for me:(

I told the stylist how nervous I was and how long it took me to decide to do it. I read all about donating hair and was ready! She just brushed me off when I was explaining what to do and said, "Oh, I've done it so many times, I couldn't even count how many, no big deal." Ok great!! She put it in a ponytail, snipped (fast and no measuring!!), walked to the counter, and dropped it all over the floor!! It slipped out of the ponytail. I was freaking out inside! I couldn't cry because I was stunned and I couldn't walk out because someone had to finish my hair left on my head! So in the end, I now have short hair. She said she would pick it up and put it together, so when I walked out, I donated my hair. What she ended up doing with it I will never know.

I like that it is lighter and I can do so much more with it! I'll try to get some better pics of it soon.

It's a bummer the videos are sideways. I couldn't change them:(

Linc is our show off and loves the spot light. Hmmm... Just like his Mommy? :)

This was the first time I heard her say her alphabet the whole way through. She is so shy even with me when it comes to repeating. I can't get her to say things back often. She is stubborn that way. But I'm happy we got it on video finally! And do you love how Lincoln can't have the camera away from himself! They are so opposite:)

(I love Linc's cup)

That girl just loves it!
