Foreheads and Missing Daddy:)

Our sweet boy Linc hit his head in nursery today (we are thinking it was an old metal bar from a dust broom thing and when he bent down to pick something up, hit his head on the edge) They came and got me from Sunday School and told me Linc got hurt, so I'm thinking that he's got a boo boo and needs Mommy. Not until I came down the hall and saw everyone running around and talking about the first aid kit did I realize he was "hurt." His teachers were so cute. They said they wiped up all the blood (pretty good amount) and cleaned him up before they came to get me.

Melissa volunteered to keep Sequoia for me which was a huge help. Lincoln and I went to the YM president's house, he's an EMT, and he tried to glue it back together but it just wasn't working, bummer. So me and little man headed into Rock Springs to the ER and the Dr glued it together there. Linc was darling and of course adored by all. He was such a good boy. And it was so sweet when they put the glue on he called out for his Daddy:)

Such a handsome little guy

Before. Not a good pic, but I could totally see his skull! Awesome.

After. Big glob of glue now.

Mike came home for a day a half since the last job! Wahoo! We got a babysitter and had a date planned when he had to leave a couple days early last minute. Bummer. But... in the end the job pushed and he got to stay the night at our house and head out the next day. We still got somewhat of a date after 10pm. Nothing ever goes as planned for us, but it works:)

Thanks for working hard for us Mister Goodman! Hopefully you love seeing some random pics of your darling children.

I was getting ready for the day and left them alone for like 3 minutes and this is what I find. They got into the chocolate. Bums.

I know its fuzzy, but her smile is way too cute:)

Love this girl!!

Love this boy!!

Lately he's been into flipping food off his fork.

They love their monkeys and elephants.

The kids hanging out at the Elder's Quorum Wii Party. He loved getting to hold his baby sister.

Of course Grant wasn't too far away. Lincoln just loves him!

I loved looking up from chatting with friends to Lincoln running around the gym like this in front of everyone. No fear!

Quoia enjoying a day alone while Linc was at school. She loved riding her little horse around with her backpack and precious things in her basket.

Ty's party, playing, tending...

Mike has been home a whole week this month, wahoo! We got to go out on an official date and eat delicious sushi, do some shopping, and yes even on the date, go into Mike's shop and do some more work that needed to be done. (I love you darling!:) It was so wonderful to be with him. And I love that I have so many good young women that are willing to babysit. We got to do a couple "normal" things that families do together for that week and then he had to hurry off to another job in the Cheyenne area. He did get to come home one more time in between jobs for 5 hours to come sleep at our house, go into the shop and prepare, come home for about 3 minutes for some smoochies from Daddy, then head off for North Dakota where he is doing a job right now. We are doing pretty good at home. Of course could be better with my Mikey home, but what do ya do! The kids LOVED seeing him for a bit. They just love their Daddy. And its ok right now because it really seems like time means nothing to them.

It was actually really cute, Mike put Quoi to bed the night he came to sleepover. (After 11pm. Toni and I were watching a movie at her house with kids sleeping when I got the surprise phone call he was coming home!) So the next morning the first thing we hear from her room is, "Daaadyyy.....Daaadyyy.......Daaadyyy.."
So tender! She knew exactly who was home!

Lincoln is doing wonderful at school! When I picked him up this past Wed, his teachers said he was the best that day of all days. They said he is catching on to the routine and getting along really well with other kids. They said if a little kid is being mean or just bugging Lincoln, he just walks away and finds something else to do and just shrugs it off; he is not an aggressive boy. I'm so glad! I'll take super extra energy with a scattered attention boy any day over a mean boy.

These two together never gets old to me:)

Love the get-up Lincoln chose while he played with his fun birthday toys!

We sure love you Bubba!

Linc on his first day of school. He was so happy!!

Quoi on his first day. She actually did way better than I thought she would. It was so nice to get to spend just Mommy and Sissy time:)

Since our last visit to the Pediatrician, we are going outside more often (ish). She said "There is no inappropriate weather, only inappropriate clothing, even in a blizzard children need to be outside." Yeah...I'm not your average outdoors person, so I figured once or twice a week if we aren't running other errands, good enough! I love their Doc though! (She is from the Czech Republic)

One of our very few snow walks this winter. They love it, but its just so cold for me!!

Darling

He loved playing with snowballs and carried one all the way home, and was a bit bummed when it wasn't allowed to come inside with us:(

He loves to ride his bike all over the house

Last Thursday we drove to Grandma Phister's. Ty had a birthday party Friday night so we stayed the night Thursday and came home later Friday night. We had a blast hanging out with the fam.

Ty was throwing snow at the window and they were loving it, esp Koban. He was laughing so hard!

The three munchkins hanging out watching a show

And then Grandma playing peek-a-boo

Grandpa and the twin cousins:)

Our cute girl

And cute Koban!

Ty hitting the pinata.

Koban got a turn!

The twins getting the cake ready. It was so fun to have the whole family (minus Mike and Jon) together for Ty's party. It was a fun night and he had a good time. There were tons of kids there.

Happy Birthday Ty!!

This week as been crazy! We had a new friend of Linc and Quoi's who just moved into town come over and play for a few hours on Monday. It was fun to get to know her and her Mom. Then Tues through Fri we've been watching a little 5 yr old boy. Between Linc's school and Landon's school at different times, going to the library a couple times, and fitting nap times in, its been super crazy. Tonight when Bobbi picked up Landon, she dropped off Merilee's kids for us to watch. Never ending:)

Shilayna just got a part-time job so we're watching Inara random days now. It's been SO nice because she watches our kids while Mike is gone (so always:) on Wed nights for mutual and all the random times I need her. I love it!

Pretty much Lincoln's "nap times" these days... Baby Einstein (I love that he still loves it)

"Nap time" with his favorite animals

She was so funny tonight! I had washed five binkies of hers earlier. While she was on the counter she saw them and needed them ALL. She walked around for about an hour after that with all five. I was impressed.

Quoi is talking so much now, mimicking anything I say. She does not act like an 18 month old. She learns so fast and is such a darling to have around. Although, the past couple weeks she has been getting quite the temper/personality. She seriously punched Lincoln in the face while in the bath tub tonight because he was coming over on her side. Oh my! But she's at least easy to stop her tantrums when they come. Mike started this and I love it. I just say, "Sequoia, do you want to go in a room by yourself??" Immediately she stops screaming and says, "No..." and she's done. Love it! I know it sounds mean but she's total Momma's Girl and hates to be alone. So much better than any time out!

Love you Mike! Hope the job goes well!!

Happy Birthday Little Man!

Our 3 year old:)

They were so cute waiting for Mommy to go bye bye with them.

And of course Sissy had her baby doll to go with her too. I'm loving that she loves baby dolls!!!

She also loves to sit at the little table and drink from her tiny tea cup.

And is great at cleaning up her messes. My kind of girl!!

It was a wonderful surprise to get a phone call on Sunday that Grandpa, Grandma, Kiki, and TyTy were on their way to come celebrate pre-birthdays with me and Lincoln! What a fun evening! I love that we live close enough to visit for the day. Thanks for coming, we loved it!!

Lincoln opened his present and Quoi opened Mommy's (a gray and purple jacket!)

Yah! He got a cool car slide. Thanks for setting it up "PaPa!"

So happy!

She is way funny. She gets so excited that everyone is coming and runs all over with excitement. As soon as they get here, she gets so shy. Crazy girl.

The day of the Birthday!

Happy Birthday our sweet boy:) Hope you love being 3. Lincoln has been so fun all day. He was so happy to have his birthday. When Grandma Deanna and Daddy called to sing "Happy Birthday" he sang right along with them. He got to have a party tonight. It was so fun to prepare for it. And he loved every minute so it was totally worth it! He loved having so many friends around him. (Although it was a bummer his two best friends Grant and Inara were both sick and couldn't make it.) He even got to stay up late with Mommy to watch Toy Story 3 and read books till after 10pm, not too often that happens! We love you man! You are such a fun little guy with SO much energy that you keep Mommy skinny chasing after you, so thanks! You are such a sweet guy and we love that you love to cuddle with us at night before you go to bed.

I'm sorry Daddy that you weren't able to be here for all the festivities, I have been thinking about you all the time and missing you like crazy! Even after all these times apart, I still miss having you around. One day... :) I took lots of pictures just for you.

Mikey has been gone since Wed and has just been sitting in a little hotel in Chugwater, Wy waiting around for a job to be ready for them. Every day the job pushes to "tomorrow night." Hopefully "tomorrow night" will come soon! We were so spoiled to get to have him for a whole week in St. George.

I made the cupcakes last night. Some tiny little fingers got some this morning and made a big mess. But it was his birthday, what do ya do??

She LOVED them!

I went to check on Linc while he was in his room for quiet time and this is what I found. Love it!

So darling

The cake/cupcakes in progress.

Moon Dough, awesome!

Hi Darling Quoia:)

Seriously do I make faces like that all the time?! Almost all of them are crazy. I was way more excited than Linc was!

From Mommy and Daddy...

"Yeah!" And baseball set

Another awesome face.

My finished project. Not perfect but it was way fun to think of and make! He loves Mickey Mouse and didn't have any of those decorations or stuff at the store, so I did it myself.

Linc's finger right down the center. He does things like this at friend's houses, so I figured whatever! Its your birthday Bubba!

Corbin. His Dad and I have decided he is Quoi and Linc's twin. He totally looks like Linc when he was younger! Corbin and Quoi are a few weeks apart.

Such a cute kid!!

I had a meeting with the Child Development Center (CDC) today about how Lincoln did on his testing and evaluations. He is officially starting pre-school with them on Monday! Its so soon! But we are excited! About a month ago they were closing him out of speech because he is doing so wonderful! They did some overall routine screenings and discovered how "busy" he is. He passed and is ahead in the Cognitive area, with a percentile of 91 (numbers, shapes, colors, alphabet with recite and by sight, etc). But when tested in the Social/Emotional area he had a percentile of 4! Wow. Even while we were in the meeting talking about his scores, he was giving them a run for their money. Seriously, after a while I just started laughing because he was so BUSY! I'm sure they were so happy to say goodbye to us today:)

We are really excited to get Lincoln started 8 months earlier than he normally would have for pre-school. Their classes are 4 kids to one teacher which is awesome! We are hoping it will be a good experience for him and help with whatever he will be needing. Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays for 2.5 hours. And the best part of all, he doesn't have to be potty trained to go! They will help! Woot woot! Hopefully by watching other kids it will motivate him!

These two were so funny! All he wanted to do was open his own present. (Ignore me! I'm talking to Mike on the phone telling him about everything going on and Kim is recording. )
