Lincoln

Dear Daddy,

You are my favorite person in the world and I stand at
the
door and cry when you leave.
I can sign some of my favorite words, but don't watch me or I wont.
I am saying it right, "Day-ya!"
I love my little sister, she is my best friend.
I love to watch shows, especially Baby Einstein.
I don't like to watch cartoons.
I only like to drink water and milk.
I love fruit snacks!
I like to go play at my babysitter Mindi's
house, she is nice.

I need a lot of sleep so I can play and have fun
(Mommy likes that).

I sleep with Bunny and Monkey every night,
sometimes Kitty can sleep with us too.
I have fun playing in the nursery at church.
I don't go pee pee in the potty, but I like to sit on it and flush it.
I can't decide what position I like to sleep in at night, so I try them all every night.
I love it when you cuddle with me at night; I like to pat your hair.
I love my binky and need it everywhere I go.
I don't like it when Mommy sings to me, do you??

Dear Mommy,

I love you and Daddy and Lincoln so much,
I cry when I can't see you.

I just cut my first two teeth, they hurt a lot and sometimes bleed.
I don't like to hold still or be in your arms, I want to
see the world.
I like to eat everything I see, it makes
my teeth feel better.

I can scoot on the floor really fast to chase my big brother around.
I sing to you or sometimes cry so I can see your face when I'm in my crib in the middle of the night.
I like all the new foods you feed me, it makes you smile and that makes me happy.
I get lots of bumps and bruises on my head because things get in my way as I explore.
I like crackers.
I like to smile, but I only laugh when something
is really funny.
I can sit up, but only until I see something fun and
I'm outta there.
I like playing with your long hair.
I like to be on my right side when I sleep.
I don't like it when you throw me up in the air.
I'm one crazy little girl and am getting big so fast!

Somewhat normal life

Who doesn't love sucking on their toes??

I am loving the long hair!!! If only Quoi's would grow...

Everyone thought I was crazy for having my kids so close, but they are so cute together. I don't regret it one bit.

So not much to report, finally! Its been a nice couple of weeks (other than me being a BEAR! I was working a bunch of days in a row and was just grumpy to every one in sight. I got a good talking to and am doing much better:) Life is boring and I'm loving every minute! Mike has been on one job since the new year and it was a day a half, not too bad! He's gets home about 6pm and we get to play for a couple hours, its definitely different that's for sure. Mike is leaving at 3am to go to Cody, WY for the day and will be home late tomorrow night. Bummer drive.

I'm still working on the kid's play room. I forgot the never posted any pictures after slaving away painting. I'll get some up soon. Things are good, the kids are great...

They are getting close to the same size

"Um, please Mom, she's touching me..."

"Aahhh..."

We had Shilayna and Travis over to play some card games. It was fun; Mikey holding Inara. Of course hates pictures.

Dinner time giggles. She has such a goofy giggle.
And seriously that is how Lincoln talks. I have no idea what he says. He says about 10 words. I have an appointment to take him to the CDC (Child Development Center) for a screening in February.

Wow long time!

This is one of my favorite pictures! Toni came over to watch Sequoia while I took Lincoln to the Dr. Well when I was trying to get Lincoln in the car he was just freaking out. He ran straight to Sequoia and wouldn't let her go! He didn't want to leave her. I had to get a picture, it was so sweet. I just love that they already love each so much. He just has to look at her and she beems.

I have 3 different posts because I have so much! So we have been doing all sorts of things around here. If I remember right, I think Mike has gone on one job since he's been home for the new year. And it was a quick job. I love having a live-in-husband! He's been super busy and stressed at the office so he comes home later than usual, but its still nice to get to see him. I guess you know when I don't have stuff with the young women, or errands to run when he gets home, or soccer for him or volleyball, working out at the gym morning and night half the days. Life is busy, but it definitely works good. Mike is really helpful with the kids when I need to go out. Actually, we are going on a real date tonight and I'm super excited. Sushi and Avatar here we come! It took forever to find a babysitter but I wasn't giving up.

My sweet little Grandma Letham died December 30 so me and the kids went to Driggs, ID to her funeral. I sure loved that cute little lady. I thing I remember most about her was that she used to pay me a nickel for everywhere I'd pull from her chin (Gee, I wonder where I got those from??) and I'll always remember the smell of her house. I loved that house. We got to go in and look through it one more time. Pretty soon the land will be all sold so I was happy to get to see it one more time... "So Wow!" is all I can say about the actual funeral. The kids, esp Lincoln, were crazy! I serious almost cried just because of my kids. I'm telling you what, don't take kids to funerals! Even though I barely heard a word they said, I'm sure it was appreciated to at least be there.

The trip home was an adventure all in itself! To make a long story short, I got pulled over (for probably the 13th time in my life) in Big Piney. I was on a Highway and it went from 65 to 35. He saw me when I got into town and I was going 49. He gave a warning, but also said "we need to to have a talk." Yep, he made me cry. Talking about how I'm going to kill my children and that was really fast. He told me to get out, get a drink and take a "few minutes for yourself." So my new year's resolution is no more speeding! To make it better, as we were about out of the same town, Lincoln puked everywhere. It wouldn't be a real road trip without that. It was awful. And the temp was like 3 above so we were miserable. The threw the wipes on the ground, and when we were done, they were already frozen. Cold!

That was definitely a night for Mike to be home, I'm so happy he was! He cleaned everything right when we got home. We put Linc to bed and he puked again. It was a long laundry night at 11pm. He ended up throwing up again twice Sunday night, one of them all over Mikey and the carpet. (I feel really bad about that one because I intentionally dodged!) I got someone to work for me Monday so I could be home with him. He's much better now:)

Lincoln is 2:)

We had a fun little birthday party for Lincoln and I on New Year's Day. Grandma and Grandpa Goodman were in town staying at Annie's so we decided to go over and visit. We had yummy cakes, played lots of fun games (yes I even played some new ones and LIKED it, crazy!) It was good to spend some time with family. Especially for Mike! I had seen them 3 times now without Mike, so it was fun to be all together.

He just wanted to keep opening everything. He loved his gifts, thanks!! (So did I)

Yummy!

Damon and Annie

Logan

We also had a not cool birthday cake for Linky on his day. He was so happy to get even more cake. He loved his Toy Story table and chairs! I was so excited to give it to him. I also bought him a balloon a couple days later and still has it and still carries it everywhere with him. So cute!

I absolutely LOVE this smile! He is so stinkin cute!

I took him for his 2 yr old check up. I forgot where I put his info, so once I find it, I'll post it. I really like our new Pediatrician we have. She is great with the kids and with me. The only thing I hope Linc picks up soon is speaking. He is still kind of slow and doesn't say very many words. And I'm so serious, the boy calls me Dad and Mike Mam! I don't know if he's kidding, but isn't that I FIRST thing kids learn? What a nut!

Our family Christmas

Ok so Mikey made it home New Years' Eve! I had to work till 7pm that night so he picked up the kids from the babysitters and got to play with them. When I got home we had our fun family time opening presents, well Lincoln opening all the presents, and just hanging out together. As soon as the kids got to bed, I left to go play cards with my girlfriends. Rude, huh!? We planned it weeks ago so had to go. I think Mike was happy to get some alone time at home for a bit, so it was ok. Anyways, fun Christmas, fun New Year! And its WONDERFUL to have Mikey home!

He got some awesome Lightening McQueen slippers

He is so funny, he hasn't really worn his new Woody hat from Grandma P, but he thinks everyone else needs to wear it.

A big fat mess of fun

This was a few weeks ago, but this is when she first started to scoot. I'll have to get another one, she is pretty good now. She's way too young, slow down Quoy!
