The Vampire Diaries

Hey all you Twilight fans... So I'm in the middle of watching the new series, The Vampire Diaries on CW and W-O-W! It is awesome! Its darker, but its a vampire story, what do you expect?? You should check it out. I just wish the characters on Twilight looked as good as they do on this show. Elena is beautiful! I have the first book on a wait list at the library and am so excited to read it, I'll let you know how it goes. Anyways, I'll get back to my show:)

Wow its been a while!

Yes my children love tv, oh well!

He has been so sweet to her and is just a good big brother. I was a little nervous how he would react with her.

K so much has happened since my last post. So... Mikey made it home from school in Canada, we got to play with him for almost a week and then he had to go to Colorado on a job. He ended up being gone for I think 9 days! A long time after he'd already been gone. Bummer. And the job was awful and didn't even work, so it made it even worse! He did come home for a night to do a different job so we saw him about 2 hours then he headed back out.

He got Sunday, the 13th, and we headed to Stg; got there around 2am. I was so happy to FINALLY get our vaca started! Which it ended up not being the funnest for everyone. Lincoln, as usual, brought his germs down to share with his cousins, how thoughtful. Of course he threw up again, what's new? But all the kids ended up getting it. Oops, sorry! Mike and I were already gone on our fun time, so Annie and Grandma G got to enjoy it. Kim took Sequoia for a day, she didn't get it bad. But by the way, they said Sequoia was so good! I'm so happy, she was the one I worried about the most. She has been doing so good lately, I'm so grateful!

We are also so so so grateful for the girls being so nice to watch the kids for us! It was a much needed trip for Mike and I, I'm just sad it wasn't the best time for you guys. Thanks so much! Annie just let me know when you're ready and you two can go camping and we can take the boys, hurry before it gets too cold up here!

Lincoln and his shoe fettish.

Beautiful little Damon (Stupid camera.)

Cheesy Logan, I'm so impressed with how much he knows!

I stole one pic of Dad and Quoia

Nut-so boys, they had a lot of fun together.

I love it! They had matching Thomas the Train PJs! So cute!

Mike and I had so much fun in Vegas! We figured its the last trip we are going to have together in a long time so we better make the best of it. And we did. I got to sleep so much, wahoo! One day I fell alseep at 3pm, woke up for an hour to shower and eat, and fell back asleep until morning. Wonderful! Of course Mikey hates pictures so no I didn't take any. I loved being with my sweetie and enjoyed every single minute with him. I think the highlight of the whole trip was the absolutely wonderful sushi we had!!! Delicious, we had to eat at Sushi 21 twice. By far the best food. Cafe Rio is nothing in my book any more.

Since we were late getting down there we extended the trip a couple more days. It was nice to get to spend some time with Annie and just hang out, even though I'm sure she was counting the time until we were out of there!:) I really had fun.

No matter where you go or how fun, its always nice to come home. We had one day to organize, shop, clean, and rest before we both had to head back to work. By the way, we must have worn Lincoln out because that day he napped for 4 hours and 45 minutes! Go Linc! And yeah! I'm back to work. Since it is still super slow at the hospital I'm only working one day a week. Can't complain about that. We have a new person watching the kids, its a friend's sister. So far, it looks like things are going to work out great. I'm so excited, esp for Linc to be around a couple more kids during the day. Its time to learn how to share!

I had so much fun at work! I love my job! I really think I can do this for a while. I'm sure by 3 or 4 kids I'll be paying for babysitting as much as I'll be making so we'll see about that, but I just love it. After a great day at work, then being so happy to see my kids after, then coming home to a perfectly clean house (DAD!) and dinner ready on the table (DAD!), and help getting the kids off to bed (DAD!), it was a wonderful day, esp when we were planning on Mike being out of town already. Thanks so much sweetie!

But he did have to leave this morning at like 5 something. That job that didn't worked is going to be attemped one more time. I sure hope its all good this time! I expect him to probably be gone another week, and of course when its supposed to be his week off, but thats ok. Good luck!

Linc loves her bebe pod chair and always wants to sit in it. He puts it so close to the tv! He is such a nut!

Haha! I wanted to see what she looked like without her crazy fro of hair, but NO! Not cute! Although Annie bought some cute clips for her that look cute, but not without the clip!

I know her hair is totally mad scientist but I love it!

Ooo... and ps, I so excited for a new season of shows! Wahoo! There may even be a few new ones that might be pretty good that I'll have to check out. I haven't watched anything yet I've been so busy, but yeah!!! And yes, I'm totally lame but don't care;)

Blessing Pictures

Here are some of the pictures we had taken of the kids. What a day! But luckily some of them turned out alright. I think I'll just stick to taking my own pics from now on. Not worth the craziness!

This picture was awesome. It tells the story of how picture day went. I'm surprised we got as many pics as we did.

And this was Koban's day, slept through it all. We were lucky to get him to peek his eyes for a few.

I love these two, they are my favorite!

This one makes me sad. Her bow is falling off! I had ordered this one for the family room and didn't notice the bow until we got them. Bummer!!

Ft Bridger

Wow! I've been doing stuff on this stupid blog for over 3 hours! I'm going to shoot it! I totally just deleted all my contact people! I hate this thing! Its definitely bed time! But I'm not tired and REALLY want to see my Mikey! I came home from Ft Bridger on Saturday and Mike had already been here for 3 hours! I didn't have service and had no idea! It was so good to see him! He helped out so much with getting the kids fed, bathed, and off to bed. It was the best night ever he could have been home, it was a rough day. I'm not a camper or an outdoor person for long periods of time by any means with my children! Not fun. So to have Mike home was a miracle!! He had to leave again at like 3am Sunday morning, bummer for him! He is just finishing (I hope!) a job and will come home and sleep a few hours and head back to Colorado. He's my hard worker! We miss him so much here, but are so grateful for all he does that's for sure! I couldn't imagine being a single mom!!

So I forgot to mention in my last post, I had to take Lincoln to the ER the Thursday before last. Mommy was an idiot and left the tylenol out I'd been giving Sequoia and he came along and thought it was a delicious treat. Geesh!! In my defense the girl wouldn't stop crying (really?) and I got distracted. Anyways, so I walk back in the room and there Lincoln is, drinking the little bottle! He had spilled some on the floor as well, so I wasn't for sure how much he'd taken, so I called my friends at the hospital in the ER. She said I was going to have to go in to get his blood drawn to check his levels. Bummer! I should have just gone with my first instinct and made him throw up! He was ok, not enough to have to drink charcoal, but enough for a nice nap. If we had to be there, nice that it was tylenol for a sleepy boy:) But man what an expensive mistake!!

Oh and by the way, very proud mama here! Lincoln didn't even move or flinch for his blood draw! He just stared at her the whole time! The second time they missed and had to fish the needle around and he did start screaming for that one. (Break my heart!) So because they missed it, there was one more draw, but the third time, just sat there and stared at it again. Just like his mama!!!

We went to Ft Bridger to the anual rendezvous. It was fun to be there, but I was so happy to leave. I used to go with my family every year since I was young. Me and the kids dressed up. Lots of old memories and lots of new pics...

The girls

Sweet sleeping baby, finally!! She screamed half the time we were there.

Me and the cute twinners

Haha! My dad bought a skunk skin and dressed Baley up

Daniel found some grasshoppers for Lincoln; he loved them!

Grandma at the frying pan toss. She did a great job!

"Boo!"

Lincoln is started to throw the wonderful tantrums. Gotta love that! And the past 3 days now his new thing is to steal Sequoia's binkies. Little punk! He is getting those bummer canine teeth and they don't look like they feel good. He is learning a lot and that has been super fun to watch. I'm so excited for Mike to get home to see everything he learns every day. By the way, even after Mike was gone 3 weeks, he still loves his Daddy! He went right over to him as if he hadn't even been gone, that was sweet.

Sequoia is getting so chunky, I love it! And she is looking more like her Daddy every day. She is either screaming, or just as happy as can be, usually happiest on the floor. If she is chilling on the floor and you come pick her up, scream. Its kind of funny! I'd talk more about her, but she's a baby. She sleeps, poops, eats, screams, coos and smiles. That's about it. But man it sure is fun to have her around.

Life has been super crazy and tiring without Mike around. I can't complain too much though. I'm the one at home with the kids, Mike is the one alone in the middle of nowhere. But it still sucks/stinks! I'm seriously losing my mind. Hello, I drugged my child! I'm ready for normal life again. I've been hanging out with Toni and Shilayna a bunch, which that has been fun. We've ran errand after errand, not fun. Anyways, I'm rambling now! Its 1:50am, probably should sleep. I just can't wait to be alone with Mikey for 5 days just us!! Wahoo!!!

Just too good to be true

Sequoia was getting in her tummy time and Lincoln jumped by her and wanted to join in too:)

Obviously Mike was back home, I haven't updated for a while. He came home Saturday tonight and what do you know, he had to leave on a job today! I'm getting more and more excited for our Vegas time every day. He should be home, I hope!, by Wed or Thurs as of right now. We'll see!

Anyways! So Friday me and the kids made it down to Utah to go to Mike's cousin's, Jordan, wedding. It was in the Oquirrh Mt Temple, which is beautiful by the way! The sealing was also all in Spanish, it was a wonderful experience. (Esp after leaving some screaming children at my Aunt Julie's!) We got to spend some time with Annie and kids and a bunch of Mike's family. Gary and Susan came home with us and helped SO much with getting my house clean before Mike came home. (Thanks so much!)

Daddy got to bless Sequoia this past Sunday. She was so beautiful in her little white dress. I have the pictures that were taken of the kids, but I'll post them tomorrow or sometime soon. I loved her dress! Mike and I also got to give our talks as well. It was a crazy day! Lincoln also didn't stop screaming while we were up there, it was awesome! But its so nice to be done with that for a long time, I hope!

I loved having Mikey home. I sure missed that guy. It's a bummer he had to leave again so soon. I hope everything goes fast! It was fun to hang out with him and just relax with him. Can't wait to see you again sweetie!!

Grandpa having so much fun hanging out with the fam
