Two Week Family Vacation (Lehi)

Thursday morning we left St George, Ty with us, and went to Annie's house in Lehi.  We got to see the brand new baby Jaron and chat for a bit, then we took Logan and Damon with us and went to Discovery Gateway in SLC.  We had never been there and I really wanted to take the kids while Mike and I were actually together and had the time.  It was worth it.  So much fun! Our passes to the Science Zone here in town got us into Discovery for free. Yeah!

Oh man how glad I was that Mike and I took the kids together, and even more happy Ty was with us too!  It was a mad house with children everywhere.  I actually did end up losing Sequoia once and the people at the front desk brought her to us.  "Whoops, that one's mine!"  Once we chilled a bit more, we had a blast.  And I loved all the creative things they had for kids to do.

Linc loved the horse.

Ty and Damon

Logan cried when he had to leave the "construction site."  He could have lived there.

Just chilling in the car:)

And hiding in the car...

The grocery store was MY favorite.  I seriously wish I could have had something like this when I was little!  I loved to pretend to be in a grocery store.

I was so happy that they loved it too!!

Logan talked to this girl forever.  It was so cute:)

Aaawww.. Heaven play store:)

I loved their cute little mini house too.

After Discovery, we met up with Tyson, Danielle and their two little ones at Rumbi's for dinner.  It was so yummy!  It was a bit crazy with 6 kids all together, but we survived.  It was fun to get to see Danielle one more time.  We went back to Annie's after dinner. The kids were exhausted!!

So we stayed up for a bit and held (I) the sweet baby and just chatted till it was bedtime. Thanks Annie for letting us crash at your house so soon after the baby was born:)  Ty came home with us to Casper the next morning.

It was great to get to spend time with EVERYONE on our trip (except T & J, but they had so much fun on their cruise I'm sure they didn't care:)  When we got home we realized with all the money we had just spent on gas, food, and shopping we could have gone somewhere exotic and sunny just the two of us and not Utah.  But.... I'm glad we chose to visit our families instead. Well worth it!  Right?? ;)

Two week Family Vacation (St George)

Oh how nice and warm it was down south!  I was really starting to miss living in St George while I was driving around with my windows down feeling the wonderful warm weather.  I was starting to get a bit home sick.  (I do like where we live, but it is a bummer living away from all family. One day!:)  Tyrel flew into St George later Friday night.  It was fun to get to spend time with everyone once again! Mike and Ty got to spend a lot of time together, they had a good time.  Kim came down with the kids a few times.  I was so happy holding little baby Brittyn. She is so cute.

My favorite time on our whole trip. We got to go to the temple with Grandma and Grandpa Great.  What a special time.

Not the best view, but still precious.

While the boys were out playing, Grandma and Grandpa took me and the kids for ice cream.  Oh yum!

We love you Grandma and Grandpa:)

They were so happy to have so much time with them:)

Always our goon!

This isn't mine, but I wish!  I took a pic to remind me of the super fun time I had with my thrift store shopping buddy Grandma Great.  We seriously went to about 7 or 8 thrift stores and, I at least, loved every minute.  And honestly, Grandma Great lasted longer than me!  I was amazed.  She found some good stuff (baby rocking crib, doll chairs, cars, toys). Thanks for the great time Milda!!

Lincoln got to play with his Dad and Uncle Ty playing video games (surprise, surprise)

Ty and sweet baby Brittyn.

Our little baby reading some books:)

We got to go visit Grandma Susan at her school, walk home with her from school, as usual eat a lot of yummy food and play lots of games, and just be together.  It was great:)  We really were liking a new game they just got, Word on the Street.  I'm pretty sure we ate Cafe Rio 3 times in about a week and a half while we were in Utah.  Delicious.  (Oh that reminds me. Just a month after we moved from Rock Springs, they got a Cafe Rio. Figures.)

Two Week Family Vacation! (Ogden)

The last couple days in February, our whole little family got to take an extended long trip to visit family and friends and just relax.  Mike had to go to Utah State's job fair and do some recruiting for Weatherford, so we decided to all go along and make a vacation out of it.  The kids and I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Phister's while Mike was in Logan.  We had a good time playing with Grandma and Koban (Tenille and Jon were on a cruise).  We went shopping, ate yummy food and took a lot of pictures of purses.  Other than Tenille and Jon, we got to see everyone while we were there.  It was a lot of fun to have Mike with us too when he was finished in Logan.

I got to meet up with Meghan, one of my girls in YW.  We went to Chili's and got to enjoy chatting through 3 rowdy little children (Kob came too).  But it was still so good to see her!  After lunch me and the kids went to visit with Danielle Creamer and her kids.  It was so fun to play at their house and catch up.

While we were still in Ogden, Grandma so loving watched the kids over night while Mike and I went on an extra long date and stayed at the Ben Lomond Hotel.  It was so fun to spend time just Mike and I and eat some yummy sushi and not have any disruptions:)  I sure do love my sweetie!

I didn't get pictures fast enough, but Ty gave Linc a ride on the horse.  He loves them!  Quoi not so much.

The kids love to be in Grandpa's barn.

They have so much fun together, wish we lived closer sometimes.

They probably fed the chickens way too much, but I have no idea and they looked like they knew what they were doing;)

Lincoln loves his baby cousin Max!  He is so good with little babies:)

They look like cousins!

Um yeah, she likes to put things down her pjs, clothes, anything.  I'm always finding something interesting.

Koban having a great time.

Poor baby girl:(  She ran into the corner wall and it pretty much snipped her ear.  Blood everywhere right before we were about to leave.

Mommy loves her girl:)

So sad:(

Grandma loves!

And Grandpa loves:)

Lincoln is a silly goon and loves to be with Grandpa:)

We got on the road Friday morning (March 2) and headed down to St. George.  We had a great time playing with family in Ogden.  And I was so happy to actually have proof for my family that yes, I really do still have a husband who actually exists!  Thanks Grandma for watching my babies so we could spend time together.

We weren't on the road long before I turned around and saw this cute guy.  Perfect pose!

They were so good on the trip.  So grateful!
