Lots of pictures

The darling bride and groom:)

Me, Dad, and Tenille. They bumped her up 2 weeks so now we are due at the same time! Its so exciting! I hope we can both induce on the same day!

Anna and Lincoln

Mommy and Linc. He had a way cuter outfit on earlier at temple square but he puked all over it. Poor little baby. He was so fussy and being a little punk. When finally got through pics with him being a bum and as we were going back to the car, it came! I felt so bad for the little guy!

The twins and their cute boys

He was a little grouch at the reception. Seriously, Lincoln does not like to be around a lot of people. He just started a new thing of hitting at people when they come to talk to me while I'm holding him. He was a little punk! I sure hope its not a perm thing!

Tenille, Jon and cute Mason

The twins and Dad:)

Lincoln...

He loves to pick out dvds and bring them to me to put it in.

I worked at 6:30am last Sat and had to get Linc up super early. He was so darn sleepy and sat there staring at nothing.

He loves to get in the car and "drive"

This is the 3rd time I've ever seen him fall asleep in his highchair.

I wasn't going to post any pre-finished pics, but its ok. I got home from the wedding and he sweet darling had finished painting the room and finished all the trim. I absolutely love it! I'm super excited now to get it decorated! And he also finished installing the upstairs bathroom which has been out of order for 2 years! It was a GREAT surprise! Thanks so much sweetie! I love them both! Oh, and the house was super clean when we got home and then cleaned even more today when I got home from work. Just wonderful!

Locked Out

So surprise surprise, another crazy busy week! Mike had to go on a job on his days off, poor guy, so he hasn't been getting a break at all. I feel bad for him:( While he was gone I worked 4 days in the past 6, not so fun for Linc. But the good news for me is because of low-census at the hospital they are cutting down some hours in the Radiology dept, so guess who is the first to get less hours, me! Wahoo! Nope, not complaining at all! I love to work extra, but I love even more to work less! At least for the next few weeks I'll just be working about 1 day a week. Darn!
It's super good I'll be home because we've got to get the kid's room ready! It's taken so long! I really want Linc to be in his big boy bed at least a few weeks before his little sis comes. And I'm super excited to see how it will all work out with our awesome bright bright green! No pics yet, I don't want too much judgement yet:)
So last night, crazy! Mike and I both had a bunch going on. We both had to work, then Mike had to coach soccer (the keepers), then had an Elder's quorum act. I got off work (5pm which hardly ever happens!), picked up Linc and got him fed and bathed and took him to my friend Darchell's for a couple hours. Our young womens activity was Highway Clean-up. Yea. I really probably shouldn't have gone. We picked up trash for a mile. I know, not so bad, but it was with this big huge belly in front of me. I know its awful to say, but I did not have the most fun. I was seriously wore out!
Anyways! So I went and picked up Lincoln from Darchell's after. They hadn't watched him before and she said he had so much fun; I'm so glad! So I put him in his carseat and accidentally hit the lock button on the keys, so I threw them on my seat and thought, "Oh I need to unlock that," and just went on strapping him in. Oh yes, I did! I shut the door! I felt awful! I ran back to Darchell's to borrow her phone to call Mike. No answer. So I took her car to run home and get the 3rd set of keys (not one but TWO sets were locked in the car!) Couldn't find them anywhere!
To make a long story short, our poor little man had to sit strapped in his carseat crying half the time for 45 min until the cops could finally get the car opened. It took 3 cops and 3 different things to get it open. At least my car is pretty safe on the whole breaking in thing! And in my panic I ended up calling Mike 7 times before he finally answered. Sorry sweetie! And yes, I'm going to be much better with my keys. When we got home Mike made me put the spare in a safe place and I'm not supposed to take it unless its an emergency. (I'll take any keys I can see when I'm in a hurry.) Mike had no sympathy for me when I did get ahold of him, only for Linc:)
Poor Mikey had to work this weekend and couldn't make it, but Linc and I are in Ogden for Daniel's wedding. I'll take some pics and update when I can.

Jungle Yard

Last week without Mike was one on the hardest I've had while he's been gone. I was so used to him being around so much that this time was a bit harder. I am so very grateful he has a good job and works so hard for us, but it was rough. I must love him:)

Linc and I both had a hard time without Daddy around. I know this time he noticed he wasn't around and was a little extra grumpy. And it doesn't help that I worked 3 days last week instead of my normal 2. Shilayna couldn't watch him 2 of the days so I think it was even harder for him because he had a few different people watch him. Poor kid, just passing him around! I had to do a CPR class this week so I had another friend watch him for that, too. I worked the Friday grave shift so Linc got to have a sleep-over with Grant. I think they had fun together running around and wearing each other out.

I came home and slept for about 3 hours after I got off that morning, woke up and got ready and went and picked up Lincoln and we headed to Ut for Annica's bridal shower. It was a fun party. We got to see a lot of family and just sit around and bs, it was a good time. And I'm very excited for Annica to become a part of our family:)

My mom has a super cute mini Dyson vacuum that Linc absolutely loved!

Linc and Kimi playing

Me and Lincoln stayed at Grandma and hung out with the twins and Ty for a while, and just as I was putting Linc in his carseat to leave, Mike called and said he was on his way to their house from the airport in SLC. So we waited a bit longer and got to see Mike for a bit before we headed home that night all together. It was SO good to see him! And he picked me up a fish taco at Del Taco for Mother's Day, what a sweetie.

This week has been super good. I only tomorrow and Sat, so its been so nice to be at home and hang out with my boys. Mike was suppossed to go on another job Sunday night, but waited around for it until last night (Wed), not very fun knowing there is a job coming but not knowing when. Hopefully he'll only be gone a few days!

Yes! These are pre pics of our AWFUL lawn, or should I say, jungle! Lincoln didn't seem to mind at all.

We got to eat dinner at friends as well as have some over here for dinner. And we FINALLY mowed our lawn. It wasn't as bad until our next door neighbors mowed their lawn, then ours looked awful. So we went outside and got quite a bit done with the lawn. I need to get some flowers! We've never had any, unless you count all the dandelions.

Of course I had to get another picture of my sweet sleeping boy. He is huge in his crib! I'm actually so sad to switch him to a big boy bed soon. He is a freak about his crib now and would stay in there all day if he could. If we go in to get him too early after he wakes up, he doesn't want to get out. I'm not complaining! More sleep in time for us!! (And I've definitely been taking advantage of it lately!)

We still haven't gotten the bedroom done upstairs and still have stuff all over the house out of order. Mike had to work on his days off when we planned to finish it. Hopefully soon we can. We ordered Lincoln's bed, but don't have a room to put it up in. It's ok, we still about a month and a half to go. Sequoia is going to be here so soon! I'm getting super excited, but still love having one child:)

This is my Linc's tv stare. This little guy LOVES his movies! When there is nothing on and its quiet in the house, Linc will pull out a dvd and bring it to me to put in, and then he's zoned. I feel bad, but at the same time its super nice that hes easily entertained. And its pretty much the only time he eats his yucky vegies; he has no idea he's eating them.

Hair cuts

So one day I was talking to my sister-in-law (soon) and I was teasing her about how her blog is never updated, same pictures and stuff for a long time. Well she got back at me about mine. I hadn't even thought about it. I'm pretty bad about taking the time to write things down. Then when I do, its a novel. Oh well...

The boys, I hope, had a wonderful time with their video game weeks. Ty went home this last Monday. It was fun to have him around. I just feel bad for him because he doesn't have kids, and he got to have Linc around ALL THE TIME. Awesome.

He is such a dork. One of his fav things to do is get this bag of eggs, stand at the step in the kitchen, and dump them all over below. Silly kid!

Last weekend I went to Ut, again, for a conference thing. Mike wasn't able to go because of the game, so I decided I'd go as proxy. It was actually kind of nice to go (other than sitting on my tushie for hours at a time!) I got to hang out with Kay, and I didn't have a child climbing on me all the time. Nice to have a little break (but of course I still missed him like crazy!). Oh and the craziest part about the trip was me and Kay went out to eat during a break we got, and guess who of all people in the world we run into??!!! Kim and Harlee!! Crazy small world! Neither of us even live in SLC. It was so fun to get to hold Harlee for a couple minutes. I'm so baby crazy right now!!

So, I drove home Sat night and had a wonderful surprise waiting for me when I got here. Mike and Ty had finished their game and painted the kid's room!!! What sweethearts! I was so so happy! I would have posted some pics, but its a little too soon to show, the paint is definitely out there, bright bright green, so I'll wait until it is completey finished so nobody will judge too harshly. I picked out the paint, but when you see it all over the walls, its crazy stuff! But I'm totoally keeping it! Its a kid's room, whatever, fun for them, that is if they don't go blind first!

Mike's first day back to work on Mon from almost having a month straight off, ended up going on a job in Casper and was gone a few days. I've got to get back to the groove of Mike being gone again, we've been so darn spoiled having him home so much. I've loved it! So this week has been a little crazy busy with meetings and activities with young womens and getting this house clean in between working without Mike around. Shilayna has been so good about watching Linc extra for us. Oh and Mike's friend who went with him on the job needed someone to feed and let the dogs out while they were gone. Linc loved it, but I'm not a fan taking care of animals. I don't love them like children, so please, next time I say, "Oh I want a puppy!" Don't let me!!

I finally got a picture of Inara. She is so beautiful. Her mom Shilayna is one of my good friends, and shes the one who watches Linc all the time.

He loves her. Shilayna said when she cries, he will run to her and give her his ever-so-beloved monkey doll. He's been super good with her!

I tried to get a cute smoochy pic, but every time he gave her one, my camera delayed and it never got one.

Future Mr and Mrs Goodman:)

Oh yes, that is what it looks like! I bought Linc a monkey backpack harness! He loves it! When we go outside he is GONE! So I figured for the summer I would try this out so I don't lose him. I think its totally funny and super cute!
Our Wed night activity was at my house. It was super fun. We watched Bride Wars and ate junk food and just hung out. I love my young women, they are the coolest girls and teach me so much. I absolutely love my calling. Linc also had a blast having so much attention in his own house.

Mikey got home about 3am Thursday morning (yeah!!!), just a few hours before Linc and I had to wake up and hit the road to Ut, oh yes, again! I had a Dr apt in Ogden that morning. It was a good drive, Linc is getting really good at travelling. Tenille met us at the apt and played with Linc while I was with the midwife. I was really grateful she came, he was so full of energy! We went out to eat after then me and Linc went to my parents and both took a 31/2 hour nap, wonderful! We hung out with them that evening, went to the twin's dodgeball game, worked on bridal invitations (finally!) and we went back home that night. I would so much rather drive at night so Linc can sleep the whole way, which he did, good little boy!

You cant' see it well at all, but I took a pic of his battle scar. I didn't see it happen, just heard the scream. He was tried to step out the back door and pretty much head planted right on the cement. His forehead and arm were all scraped up. Poor kid, by the time we made it to the library, his forehead was dripping with blood and oozing. Yes we got a lot of stares. Its a pretty good scab now. But this kid has so many bruises and bumps constantly that what's another one, right?

Speaking of Lincoln, that boy is seriously a ball of energy now! Its not bad at all when we are at home. He hates to be cuddled and I don't hold him very much, so he just plays with his toys and gets into everything all day. Hes actually super easy at home. Its just taking him places, like church, and thats a whole different story! He hardly ever cries too, just hates to sit still. But man I sure do love this kid! Hes getting to be such a big boy. And hes so great with Inara. I'm so excited for his little sister to get here! I hope he wont be too traumatized with a new little person in our lives:) And I can't complain too much because Linc still takes awesome naps. Yesterday he slept for 4 hours and was still sleepy by 7:30pm!

I fianlly cut his hair! Its been due for quite a while now. His hair and so long and not cute! I had never done it before, but there is a first time for everything. I really like it much better now! I wanted to keep it a little longer on the top, but oh well! It will grow back!

And there's a not so perfect belly shot too!

The after pics with Grandma...

I forgot I also cut my hair! I had my cousin cut it in St G, seriously like 5-6"! Well, that just got something in me and I wanted it a little shorter and bangs, so I had a friend here cut it again! She cut a few more inches off and layered it a bunch and did the swoopy bang thing. I used to have them and its always been my favorite, so I thought what the heck! Of course its still long, but just not as. And my hair grows super fast, so whatever!

It probably doesn't even look shorter, but it is SO short to me! It was down to my bum before!

Since I was getting my pic taken I figured I'd throw in a belly shot of Mommy and Sequoia.

And Mike was a super good sport and let me take a pic of us. Hes just so beautiful:) Thanks sweetie!

Mike came home early from the shop on Friday and we got to hang out as a family for the first time together in a really long time. It was nice. We watched my friend's little boy for a while and went to the hs girl's soccer game. We did some tradesies and Mike went and worked out while I had the kids, then I went to the Fabulous Friday and made a super cute craft. I'm pretty proud of myself, I'm not the most craftiest of people. Our house is taking a long time to get it to where I want it, but its ok, a little at a time. Anyways, lucky me, work called and needed me to work the night shift that night! So Mike and I hung out and had a little date night and watched a movie, then I got to go into work at midnight. Awesome. I was SO stinkin tired! But it was a super good night, so I can't complain too much.

I think Lincoln is getting to be such a big boy, then he plays with his friends and he's a little baby again:)

This weekend has been really nice to get to relax with Mike and Linc and just be with them. Mike is leaving tomorrow for Alaska, so I'll try to soak up all the time I have left with him tonight!

My Fabulous Friday project, I love it:)
