St. George

Well, well! It has sure been a lot in 3 weeks. I need to do better at keeping up! First of all, the twins graduated!! Go Anna and Kim! Wahoo! Me and Linc got to go to there graduation. They had a little get together party after at my parents house. It was pretty fun, other than the fact that Lincoln screamed almost the whole time! Not fun. Anna used to want bunches of children; she's thinking that over now. It was great, during the ceremony Daniel fed him and he fell asleep in his arms. It was the most joyest hour after all that screaming! Thank you! The party was fun. Grandpa had his wagon out and tent stuff. It looked pretty cool. There was a bonfire and smores after. Yum! We are just so proud of the girls...

Papa, Dan and Linc

Anna w/grumpy Lincoln

Kimi w/Linc

The whole fam dam (except Mikey-at work)

Bonnie getting Linky to settle down (and Ty about to go crazy!)

And yeah!! Grandpa finally got him to sleep, it was like past 11pm by then

St George!!

Mikey got off work Wed evening and we headed out. It was snowing when we left. Crazy. For about 2 hours Lincoln screamed once again. It was such a fun ride. We made it to Gary and Susan's a little after midnight. It was such a fun trip! We played games, chatted forever, went to Grandma Goodman's and did a whole bunch of yard work. I guess I should say they did. I stayed in w/the kids. And I bet I was just as tired when we left as everyone who was out side. Lincoln's boring and just lays around and stares at things. I'm going to miss this stage!! I'm not ready for the walking around kids yet. It was a fun reunion getting to see everyone we see once a year. My favorite part about the reunions is Canasta w/the girls!! Esp Aunt Mindy:)

Rachel (Ty's girlfriend) w/Linc. She was so wonderful w/him and all the kids! I really like her!

Annie w/little Noah

Peyton, he is a cutie!!

Tyler and Lincoln. Tyler was also a good babysitter!

I can usually find Mike at these reunions takin a nap somewhere in the corner:)

He's always so happy to get pictures:)

Scott and his girlfriend Christine. She's so sweet.

Tyrel, Rachel, Sarah, Tosha, and babies

Haha!! Kissing Cousins!! Logan and Kash Funny but not funny...

Mikey in the corner again:)

The Mike Goodmans

I thought it was so cute Linc and Logan were matching that day!!

DeAnna's cute little Donovan

My sweet Gracie

Me and my cousin Sarah, who is married to Mike's cousin Jason. A little crazy. Their Noah is just 5 weeks older than Linc. It's been fun to have kids about the same time. Me and Sarah used to live together in St G. Now we are way far, so it's fun to have two family reunions to get to chat. (When we both make them!)

K Raquel, you can close your mouth! (I do that a lot)

The Other Grandma Goodman's

It's always so much fun for our family to all get together, and it doesn't happen much. Kim put together a tournament of tournaments for us. (We just had to leave in the middle and ruin it though, but it was ok, we just took away the competition! Right.) Badminton, Snitch Pitch, and Canasta. Yes Kim and Steve won the first two, big surprise! But we beat them in Canasta, that's right!

Steve helped them put in some new grass and it is wonderful! They also bought the cutest airplane teeter-totter for the grandkids. I love it! It was big enough for all the girls to play on it.

My cute little fat man!!

Grandma and Grandpa had the kids while we played a round in the tourni. And it's a good thing Lincoln was outside. That boy definitely needs a tan!

Grandpa and Linc. He's sure not used to the sun yet, Mommy is a home body. I'll try to do better this summer.

We left the tourni early to go out to dinner w/the Crowthers. It was so good to see them all! (Except Jared, at work) We went to Cafe Rio, my favorite!, and just hung out and chatted.

Brandon and Linc

Lindsey and Linc

Kim w/Linky

And Nana Kay w/the little man

All of us:)

Me and Lincoln went to visit Shelley in her house they just moved into. It is so cute! We have not even painted one wall yet and hers was so cute from ceiling to floor! It was fun to get to chat w/her. We also used to live together. I sure miss Shelley, she's been a good friend. I didn't get to see her little man, Breckin, he was napping.

No makeup picture:)

Lincoln has learned so much this month it is scary! He's a brand new boy! I'm sure he'd do even better, but I'm a bad mommy at putting him on his tummy. But we are working on it! Just while we were at Grandma Susan's he started lifting his cute little tushie up trying to scoot forward. He also can sit up w/his arms holding his body for about 10 sec. One baby step at a time. Every little milestone is so fun for mom and dad:)

He also wasn't feeling the best when we got to Grandma's. He started coughing quite a bit and puke back up everything he'd just eaten. He was pretty congested, didn't eat well at all, and was just a fussy little monster. I took him in to the Instacare down the street. We just thought he inherited his daddy's acid reflux and I was just gonna see if they had any medicine for him, but it ended up he had just a mild case of RSV. Lots of fluids and suction. And in just a few days, he was much better...

Mesquite!

I would have to say that my very favorite part of the trip was Mesquite. Me and Mikey left Lincoln in the good hands of Grandma Susan and spent 2 nights down there. It was wonderful! No pictures. We layed out in the beautiful sun for hours while I read Harry Potter (7). I got an hour message, heaven! We ate at the buffet a couple times, not the best. We kept showering so much going back and forth because of the yucky cigarette smell on our clothes. And we played lots of games. I've always liked Hundred Hand poker, but now I have a new favorite! Black Jack was so fun! I see how it can get addicting. It's a darn good thing we don't live anywhere near Nevada!

I really just enjoyed spending time w/Mike. I love him so much. He's the best husband anyone could ask for. He is my very best friend. I really got lucky w/him. It was nice to have that time to ourselves for just a bit. It seems like here at home one or the other is always gone somewhere. Anyways, it was a just a wonderful time! We stayed one more night at Grandma's, played Canasta, and headed home the next morning. As much fun as we have, it's always nice to be home.

Home

My brother has been w/us since last Sunday. Mom is on her way today to come pick him up. It's been fun having him here. I'm not so sure how much fun he had. I'm boring, no Dishnet, every once in a while annoying crying baby. He mowed the lawn and helped out w/the house and watched Lincoln quite a bit for us. I sure appreciate him. Me and Linc met Dad, Mom, Anna, and Ty in Evanston to bring him here. They all got to see Stinkin Lincoln (he's not going to like that!) It was good to see them all. I just feel so bad. When I travel w/him for longer distances he's a grumpy face! So almost every time my fam sees him he is.

Anna and Linc

Grandma w/the stinker

Ha Ha! He has poky out ears! K and seriously he looks like Jack Jack on the Incredibles! The twins and Ty mentioned that to me a while back. I watched it, the only Disney movie we have so far, and he totally does! Esp when he turns into crazy monster! I'll have to steal a pic of him when he's grumpy face.

He's usually happy go lucky at home. I love his fat little legs!

Mommy w/her baby

Lincoln had fun w/his Uncle Ty:)

Yesterday for Church

Tenille and Jon bought Lincoln the cutest baby suit when he was born and now he finally fits it! I wanted to wait until Father's Day next week, but I have to work, so we put it on him yesterday. Man oh man was he a cutie!! I just love it! He is a miniature of his daddy! And of course I just had to get lost of pictures! These pictures are rare. If anyone knows Mike, he hates pictures! He must have been in a really good mood yesterday and really love me to stand there in the kitchen and let Ty take the pics! Thank you so much Mikey! I love them! I just couldn't resist; my boys were so handsome!:)

Linc was so proud of himself

Linc is so solid! They were getting pretty tight around the waist but still not quite long enough yet. That's ok! He's built like his parents!

Oh I just want to squeeze him...

and suck on that cute little face of his!

Our Family:)

I just love my boys so much!!

Ok just a few quick notes... I finally finished the Harry Potter series and am so so sad they are over! I just loved them to pieces! Maybe one day (in many years) I can read them again. I read the first 2 Twilight books over Christmas. The second one was so darn depressing that I didn't go right on to Eclipse. But now that school is over I'm all about books, so I pulled it out. It started out horrible! I am so frustrated w/this stupid love triangle going on! I was not excited, but I must admit, it got much better and now I'm a freak waiting for the last one!! August!!! Now I'm reading The Wealthy Barber decades later. It's a pretty smart read! Everyone should read it.

Anyways, I also got a job! It's not even as an Xray Tech, how sad it that! I plan on it in the near future though. But what I have now is in Home Health taking care of an older woman in her home. I think I'm really going to enjoy it. I start tomorrow. I'll usually be working 3-9pm, perfect timing for me! My wonderful friend Marlene is going to be watching Lincoln. I'm so glad that she is willing! Of all of my friends here, she is honestly my first pick! I don't worry about Linc at all.

I'll try to keep in touch more often in the future; this is how I always am w/journals, everything all at once. Less detail rubbish:)

Wonderful Life

Lincoln is so much fun. We are just loving being mommy and daddy! Just in these last 2 weeks he has learned so much. It's crazy how quick it is! He has started reaching out and grasping his toys in front of him. It was funny; me and Mike were on the couches, he was taking a nap, and all the sudden I heard Linc's music to his toy turn on and I see him reaching and hitting it. Wahoo! So of course I'm like, "Oh my gosh! Mike look at Linc! That's the first time!" (Like all first time mommies) He opens an eye to see and says, "Yeah, cool" and rolls over and keeps sleeping. (A man) Linc now notices his little "feetsies" and loves to play w/them, he talks and sings so much. He also started eating rice cereal. He is such a cutie eating from a spoon!

It's all I can do to keep his hands out of his mouth! He has red swollen fingers because he sucks on them so much. I try the binky, but nope, only hands.

I took this as soon as I saw him while Mike and I were on the couch

Even though we don't need a helmet for him, Lincoln's Dr still recommended Physical Therapy for his head. Because he was always looking to his right side, his neck muscles on the left side are pretty tight. So they do exercises w/him and check reflexes and motor skills. It's a Child Development Center here in Green River. I really like them and it's helped me a lot to see what I need to be doing w/him. I am so bad at "tummy time!" He does ok for about 5 minutes, then screams, but we are working on it! They also have a 'Parents as Teachers' class sort of thing that I think I'll start doing also. I've really enjoyed being a mommy and want to learn more about what I can do to teach Lincoln; I have no idea!

I've had so much fun out here meeting a lot of people. About once a month or so I love to get some of my girlfriends together and we go to the late show. It is one of my favorite things so far! We just went to see 'What Happens in Vegas' last weekend. K, it was so much fun! Girl talk, no babies, and a romantic comedy; a good night. I highly recommend it; it was hilarious and made me miss Vegas so much (if that's believable!) Good thing me and Mikey are going to Mesquite (close enough) in a couple of weeks! Me and Linc went to a Scentsy candle party at my friend Amanda's while Mike was on a job. I'm not a candle person, but they were pretty cool. I'm still thinking about getting some. My favorite was Freshly Cut Grass. I know, crazy, but yum!

My sweet little Lincoln:)

Happy Mother's day to my mom and Susan! Sorry we couldn't be w/you girls on your day. It was an ok day. Mike and I for some odd reason don't celebrate holidays much. It's just whatever, any other day (although I do love my birthday!). I got to see Mike for an hour last Christmas Day and was the happiest person ever! He was on a job, and came into town to "get food." I was reading the Twilight series (present from Daniel) and was as happy as can be. Anyways, I had gotten some curtains in the living room a few weeks ago and told Mike that they could be my Mother's Day present. And what a wonderful one at that! We did go over to our friend's house, Nathan and Toni Southam. That was way fun! We didn't mean to stay as long as we did, but Mike was earning how to play Guitar Hero. It was fun! (Although Nathan did give away the ending in Harry Potter #6! I finally finished yesterday, but man was I bummed to already know what happens. But it's ok guys, we are still friends!:)) Which by the way thanks to Toni, we found out you can watch whatever TV show you want on the channel's website. Um best thing ever! And also, where the heck have we been!?

My curtains

Mikey just got home yesterday afternoon on another job, and should be going on another one tomorrow. It's fun to have him around and here to play w/us! He was waiting for a certain job for about 3 days, just waiting. He is sure funny when he's impatient:) I love him very much...

Haha I just think these two are so funny! He's crazy:)

He was helping Mommy w/some workouts.

Graduate!!!

Lincoln loves his green chair. He's getting to be such a big boy!!

Yeah! I'm officially done w/school! You have no idea how happy that makes me! I took my boards this last Tuesday and passed and am done! Now I get to throw away all the million papers I have all around the house. It has been an eventful last 2 weeks for the most part. Let's see... The twins came and stayed w/us the weekend of the 19th. I have a friend here in Green River who took their senior pictures. It was way fun to hang out w/them and do their hair and all that fun stuff. I wish I could have been w/them longer while they were getting the pictures taken, but it was so darn windy that day and it kept blowing in Lincoln's face that I spent most of the time in the car w/a screaming baby. Not fun. But I loved having the girls here! (Mikey was fishing w/his friends while we got them ready. He brought us home a huge and yummy fish for dinner late that night.)

Hello!!

Just woke up from a nap:)

I know I am so lame but I love going visiting teaching! I don't have too many things to do out of the house (which I am so happy w/that!) so when I do go out and chat w/girls in my ward, I enjoy it. I really like my VT partner. She is so much fun and I've really liked getting to know her. I've been pretty busy w/the young women. The younger girls came over to our house last Wed for an activity. It's been fun to get to know the girls and go to all the activities w/them. And it's good because it keeps me pretty busy. We had stake conference last weekend. It was Lincoln's first time w/a younger babysitter when we went to the adult session. Which by the way, I'm not allowed to give instructions to the babysitters anymore about all the things about Linc, examples: what to do when he cries, what he likes, where the diapers are, how to prepare his bottle... I'm very bad at explaining, Mike said he will do it from now on. I've left a few people now very confused. I'm not sure if I mentioned before, I don't breastfeed. Lincoln latched on twice in a week, so I gave up. Too stressful and too many girly tears! So I just pump. I now only have to do it 3 times a day and we get plenty. Saves lots of money! It's just annoying to prepare. Anyways! It was fun having Meghan over to babysit.

The adult session was very good. It was definitely worth getting a babysitter to go. It's usually me who is finding all sorts of excuses not to go (stake conference is my day off) but I was excited to go this time. (Mike had just gotten home from fishing and shooting w/his friends again. A friend of his at work lent him a gun, so now he's always out playing w/his toys. It's a really good place for us to live w/his hobbies. Flaming Gorge is only 20 min away) I'm so grateful we went that evening. I'm assuming the theme this month is family, because it's been the topic for a few weeks now, and it was that night. What better a topic. It made me feel so good to be a mom and be able to spend all the time that I do w/my family. I'm so grateful to be here on earth at this time. One, because I love all the luxuries we have! But more importantly, because I was born into the gospel in the latter days. It makes me so nervous to raise children now, but also so excited at the same time! We need a strong next generation and I hope so much that I can help raise one. My very favorite place to be of all is home w/my Mikey and Linc and hope it will always be that way. I'm just so grateful for all that Mike and I have been blessed w/the last few years.

Anyways... I don't know where that came from but there you go! Mike went to California on a job a week ago. He ended up being gone I think 5 days. As much as we miss him while he's gone, sometimes it's nice to sit down w/a book and enjoy. And now that I don't have to study, I'm reading all my books I've been saving! I love it! And I've been organizing this house a little better. Happy times:)

Lincoln went to his 4 month checkup yesterday. He is 14 lbs and 25" long. The Dr said he is a tall skinny baby, but he doesn't look skinny to me! He seems like a chunk, but at least he's healthy. And yeah! Lincoln does not need to wear a helmet! I still think it looks silly, but the doc said it is getting much better. Very good news. He has a fever today, but I'm thinking it's just from the shots. Oh, and the last 2 weeks I don't know if I ate something crazy or what, but Linc was just a monster! He cried and was fussy so much. Maybe he's getting teeth, I don't know, but now this week he's totally mellow. I swear sometimes I think he likes his dad more. As soon as Mike is around, he's an angel and Mike wonders what I'm talking about. Crazy kid! I'm just so happy now me and Linc can have a boring life and not have to travel as much anymore:)

Me and Linc met my friends Tori and Meagan (w/her kids) at Cafe Rio my last day of school. I feel so bad it was the first time they had seen Lincoln! I guess we've been so busy we just never got a chance to get together. I am so glad we did!!

Me and Tori, w part of Lincoln:) We sure miss her!

Meagan and 3 month old Kelton (It was so funny...Lincoln and Kelton had on the same shirt that day!)

Meagan's little girl Faith

We are getting so excited to go to St G in a few weeks! We can't wait to see our fam and play w/friends and most importantly get tans!! That's the one bummer thing about this town, not good sun. And Mike just heard that Skywest will soon be flying into Rock Springs! WaHoo!
Oh, and I remember a while back I kept going on and on in this blog about how much I love TV and all my shows I love. Yeah, so the next morning, Mike canceled Dishnet. He hadn't even read the blog. We had been talking about it for some time, but just couldn't do it. It was a very sad morning. I must admit, it's been so nice not to have Glen Beck on all the time!!! :) As much as I miss TV, it's been very peaceful in our house and I love it. We've actually gotten a lot accomplished!

My cousin Lara and her little boy Seer (I hope I spelled that right!)
I was so grateful to Lara! I called her like 9:30 the night before my last final and asked her if she could watch Linc for a few hours. That was so sweet of her, especially such late notice! And I really wanted her to see him.

On our way home we stopped in Morgan and visited my friend LaNae and her little girl Brexton
She's such a cutie!! (Linc is HUGE next to her!)

Bye!:)
