Crafting Girl Time (with Super Sick Children)

All the girls made some orders at our awesome store and I brought everything with me when I came up on a random weekend. I was so super excited to go! I picked up Lincoln after school on early out Friday, went to say goodbye to Daddy at the store and get a few more things, and head out! We made it to Panda Express in Cedar City to have lunch. As we are getting out of the van, who decides to barf all over?? Poor little Quoia. Luckily most of it made it outside the van door. After cleaning it all up, I called and text everyone to see if they still wanted us to come. They all said yes, so we continued.

Should have turned around in the beginning. Sequoia puked a couple more times and had diarrhea on the way up. It was a very long drive. By the time we made it up, Lincoln started to feel yucky. So literally the whole weekend was cleaning up and catching vomit and diarrhea. The kids were in constant baths and new pjs. But in between it all, we had our craft time from noon on Sat till about midnight. Grandpa just loved the craziness and mess all over;)

I did get to go outside right before noon and help Grandpa tear down the old shed in the backyard. That actually turned out to be the highlight of my weekend. It was fun to work hard, lift wood pieces, help saw everything into fire, and most of all... spend quality time with my dad without any interruptions. I loved it:) And it felt so good to see what we accomplished in the end. I need to go outside more often. (I love their new "old time" shed they got later.)
We brought the little ones a craft to do as well. Koban and Max got some awesome guns.
Sequoia chose a dinosaur and Lincoln an owl. They are becoming my awesome crafting buddies!
Of course, Ty Ty is always the favorite.
Anna's cute belly! She made Hazel's name. It ended up so dang cute.
Sequoia recovered pretty well; it lasted a couple days for her. Lincoln, not so much. That sweet little boy gets knocked out when he's sick. I'm surprised he even went outside to help Ty feed. He got to ride in the mini trailer so he was pretty happy.
And then he was spent.
Grandpa thought he'd take a picture of what the kids did to the house while we were busy:)

I love these girls:)
I think this one was Tenille's finished display.

I had originally planned on leaving Sunday after church, but with Lincoln still not feeling any better, we had to stay two extra days. I don't like Linc missing school, but there was no way he was going anyway. I was happy because I got to spend more time with my mom, but I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa weren't as happy. They ended up getting it pretty bad and it lasted forever. Whoops! I think Max and Annica also got it. What can I say, we are a family who shares:)

On Sunday night we got to burn some of the firewood I helped chop! I love campfires! One of my favorite things in life, of course I could live without the smell later. I feel really bad, because Lincoln had been asking seriously all weekend to roast something on the fire. So when we finally did, he was too sick. He fell asleep at about 5 that night on the couch and slept till morning (with the occasional barf in the middle of the night). I even tried to wake him up to come outside since I knew how much he wanted to, but he wouldn't flinch. Poor boy.
Quoi still wasn't 100% She was super quiet and kept to herself the whole time.
But this girl loved being outside by the fire! And with her Grandma Deanna.
This little boy is such a cute little stinker. He's actually a good boy and listens well, but oh my is he BUSY! He reminds me so much of Lincoln when he was this age. Linc was a handful of energy. And they seriously look like twins.
I love this beautiful face:)
