Happy 4th!

Ok, so first of all, I just have to say... "I'm done pumping!" A little too personal for some but I don't care! Wahoo! I went exactly 6 months on the dot. We stocked up in the freezer so Linc is still getting the good stuff. A huge accomplishment for me. It feels so good to have my body back. And drink Dr Pepper again! (Yes my name is Raquel and I am an addict.) Anyways, wahoo!

If anyone really does read this rubbish you can totally skip through because obviously I was very tired and rambled forever!

We had a fun little extended weekend here. Mikey made it home Tuesday night. We got to hang out and watch movies together and just be best friends again. I sure do love him. He had to go into work on Wed till noon, then we went out to eat then somehow I convinced him to come to our lame little mall we have in Rock Springs. I bought 7 shirts for $25! Good day:) I went to a YW activity later while Mikey and Linc got some good Daddy/Son time in. Thurs we hung out around the house being lazy bums until we needed to leave to go to UT. Another good day:)

Haha! It was so funny I just couldn't help it! Lincoln had puked all over the blanket, but I hadn't realized until he rolled all over in it! I had to take a picture. Mike said it was rude, but I just had to! Silly Lincoln! He didn't mind:)

We went to Ty's Posse thing for Cherry Days. It's like a mini rodeo. It was bloody hot! I felt so so white trash holding Linc w/only his diaper on! But when I looked around, we totally fit in. I was born country, and country's what I love! False. It was fun to watch Ty ride Star and do his stuff. He did a very good job; me and Mike were impressed. Lincoln got to stay behind and play w/Grandma and Grandpa while me and Mike went to Golden Spike to play softball w/Daniel again. I am so out of shape for sports, and not good anymore! But it was fun:) We made it back home after 10:30p and Linc was still up and just loving the dogs! He is so funny! We hung out for a bit w/Dan and his girlfriend (she is a cutie), the twins, Ty and Mom just chatting; it was pretty fun. Oh, and just P.S. Don't make brownies w/rancid oil! It tasted like a Dutch Oven! Disgusting!

Mike was SO happy to be there:)

It was Linc's first time on a horse. Yeah!

Grandpa, Linc and Uncle Ty

He's gonna be just like his Grandpa...

Smooch!

Lincoln thinks dogs are the funniest things and was laughing so hard. But...Peanut and Baley do not like him at all.

Just hangin out

Ty and Peanut

Baley loves Mike! She wouldn't even budge for me.

He was just going to town chewing on that milk jug

We all got up bright and early and went to Riverton at Uncle Danny's for the Phister Phamily Reunion on my dad's father's side. It was pretty fun to see people I haven't seen in a while, and that Mike had never met after 3 years of being together. He is so funny; he does not like to meet people! I think it's cute:) We hung out and did whatever. I played some volleyball w/a bunch of my cousins and sisters and had a blast. Lincoln was such a good little boy! We are so blessed to have him. He didn't whine or cry at all. We sure do love him! We left to go to the airport to pick up Grandma and Grandpa Goodman from St G and brought them home w/us. The party just never ends:)

Mommy and Linc

I laid him down on the grass while we ate and he didn't mind at all. I was surprised. He grabbed a fist full of it and just hung out. There were misty sprays above him. He was way relaxed.

Grandma and Linc relaxing in the shade

Our cousins Sarah(mine) and Jason(Mike's) were there too. Their little boy Noah and Lincoln were too cute together!

HI!!
"Daddy save me! He's gonna eat me!"
(Man, Linc is so pale next to him!)

Hi Daddy!

Well, we really enjoyed having G & G Goodman here in our home w/us. It's always so much fun when they are around. We got in some Canasta (Hand and Foot to other people), w/out Mike and I know he was just so sad he didn't play! We play way too much! We watch a bunch of movies, did pizza, went out to eat, went to church, and just hung out and were lazy and loved every minute! Me and Susan also went shopping and she got me lots of cute cute clothes for my graduation. Thank you so much I love it. When I got home, Gary had gotten Mike an early birthday present. They are the sweetest! It was a gun safe. I'm sure it was because Grandma was so nervous w/his guns just lying around on the floor. Which by the way, I'm not sure it I mentioned, Mikey bought some new guns and is just loving them. While the girls were shopping, the boys went shooting. Typical:)

On the way home to Wyoming. Linc was excited to see his G & G Goodman

K this was way too funny! Me and Susan decided to feed him Peas for the first time. It looks like he got his mom's taste buds! He was gagging and spitting it out and being so dramatic; I loved it!

Ha ha! Even though Mommy hates her vegies you still have to eat them sweetie! Sorry! (and yes I eventually did try them later and they are nasty!)

Sad. On the way back to the airport to go home

:)

Happy Birthday today Gary!!! We ate at Ihop then drove them to the airport in RS. It was a wonderful weekend w/them! I hope you had a great birthday forgotten Father-in-Law:)

Me and Mikey laid out in the beautiful sun today while our sweet little boy took a long long nap. He knows exactly when we need him! I love love love that Mike loves the sun and tanning as much as I do; seriously, sometimes even more! It's one of my favorite things to do w/him. And it was way past due for us, we are starting to look like Lincoln...PALE. But of course the weekend had to end sometime. Mike left on a job about an hour after we came back inside. I miss you sweet Mikey, but it's so worth it when I see you again for the first time!

Me and Lincoln ran some errands, cleaned this messy house, and hung out. We watched High School Musical for the first time. Yes, I am lame. After all this running around and seeing everyone, it's actually kind of nice to get to hold my own baby again and have it be just me and him. I've missed him. But that's ok! He was so so lucky to be able to see both of his wonderful Grandparents in one weekend! He loved it!

He's our big boy:)

Oh, and Happy Half Birthday to me and Lincoln on the 3rd and 4th! Yes Daddy, we are celebrating it! I'm just sorry we missed yours:) Lincoln turned 6 months on the 4th. I have such a big boy! It's crazy!

Lincoln just started to roll over across the room before we left on Thurs. He's so proud of himself. He wants to crawl but just can't quite figure it out; it's so cute to watch. But he can definitely take his time on that; this house is not baby safe yet! He's doing very well at sitting up. Not mastered, but soon. Lincoln. You are such a cute little kid! Me and your daddy just love you so much and love that you are in our little family. I hope we can always be there for you. We love your fun personality and hope you continue to be happy w/life. I'm giving you all the smooches I can get in now before the day comes when you wont let me anymore. We love you.

K so another novel! Sorry again for the rambling, it's way late...

Hangin out cont...

Mike got to come home for a whole night! Yea! He actually came home with the idea he was going to get called out w/in the hour, but he made it till while he was at the shop the next day. It was fun to get to spend some time w/my sweetie:) He went to Colorado and hoping he'll be home Mon or Tues. He's such a good hard worker. We are so proud of you Mike for all you do for us... While he was sleeping Thursday evening after he got home, me and Lincoln went to my friend Lindsey's little girl's birthday party at a park here in town. It was fun to get out and play.

K, I don't know much about 2 year olds, but I'm sure they don't play w/barbie dolls yet. But I just couldn't help but get him! It's Robert (Patrick Dempsey) on Enchanted! I just loved it! (and of course I'm all Grey's lately, so I had to get Patrick!)

The birthday girl, Kadrie:)

Sweet little princess

My friend Toni and her little Grant and me and Linky (It was so windy! But of course I live in Wyoming, when is it not!)

Mom and Linc

It was Flaming Gorge Days this weekend. They had a parade, 5K run, concert, games, whatever. With everything going on I had a heck of a time finding someone to watch Lincoln; I had to work today. I finally found Meghan, a girl in my young womens. She watched him, then when she went to the parade, her mom did, then when she had to go to work, they walked him down to a friend of mine down the street, Melissa. Poor boy! Getting hauled around all over!

I started to think today that maybe I shouldn't be working and be a perm stay-at-home mom. But then I thought of the advantages. Lincoln gets to get out of the house away from Mommy and gets to play w/other adults, kids, babies, and puppies. I want him to like people and not be a mommas boy. And honestly I like to get out and do something for myself too. As long as he is in good hands, I will.

I found out that he loves dogs! He was giggling so hard when I picked him up today. It was so darn cute! He was crazy today! Just so excited and happy. He fell asleep so early tonight, probably wore himself out from being a spaz! He has slept through the night, minus 2 nights, since he was 3 months old, and still takes like 3 naps during the day. I love my sleepy little man!

Anyways, I am getting so excited for next weekend! I just really hope Mike can be off. It is his days off, but lately that doesn't matter. It's my fam reunion in Riverton, UT the 3rd and 4th. Then Mike's parents are coming later on the 4th from St G and we are bringing them home w/us. I just hope Mikey can come! But it's ok if it doesn't work out that way, as always and forever, I will still love you:)

Stinkin Lincoln
(K, poor kid now has a sad nickname! That's ok he can totally pull it off)

I love it; he just goes to town on his little toesies

HELLO!!
Oh yea! I feel so bad! Right before I took this picture, I accidentally dropped the camera on his tummy! I thought he was going to cry, but just kept smiling. You can't see it too well, but his tummy is red. Sorry Lincoln!!

K and while I have been sitting here typing away my friend, Brenn, came over and apologized for last minute but asked me to be the Primary Chorister for church tomorrow. It's just way funny because I said last week that is the one calling that I would not ever want! Scary!! (and of course teaching Gospel Doctrine) I said yes but am so so nervous now! I guess it helps that we only have about 10 kids in our ward in primary. Whatever, still scary!!

Hangin out

Mikey left again Tuesday morning and should be home tomorrow. Yeah! It's so exciting waiting for him to come home! I only work Mon and Sat this week. It's been so nice to get a lot done around the house. We don't even have children running around messing things up, yet somehow it is a disaster all the time! That's usually my life, cleaning. But I enjoy it so it's no big deal. When Mike leaves, Grey's Anatomy is my best friend. I get all the seasons at the library and watch them. I love it! My mom bought the game Grey's Ana. and I played w/the twins last week. It was so much fun! Yes, I'm lame.

Me and Linc went to the Child Dev Center for some more PT yesterday. He is doing much better. His head still looks bad to me, but she says it's looking good. His neck is not tight anymore. He has full range of motion w/his sweet little head. Yeah! At least we're doing something right! Yesterday evening I took Linc w/me and we headed to the Green Belt w/my friend Toni. Green River has a lot of running trails all over town and it is a section of one that runs along the river. We ran a little over 3 miles. Nice way to start out. I am so darn sore! I do Taebo (yes, again, I am lame), but I haven't ran in over 2 years! And it's dang hard w/a stroller. Hopefully I can keep it up. When Mike is in town he is so good about getting up way early and going to the gym. Then sometimes he'll even go back later that same day after work w/his friends and play racquetball. He's so good; I'm trying to keep up w/him!

I watched my friend Lindsey's kids today. She made me dinner and then we did a tradesies and she kept Lincoln for me while I went and played w/bows and arrows w/the young women. It was alright. I broke a bow and it snapped on my hand. Ouch! I'm just up still and trying to get things done for Mike tomorrow. And thought I'd chat a bit:)

I sneaked into Linc's room and got a quick pic of him. This is my favorite time of day. I love to just stand there by his crib and watch him. He's such a sweet little boy:)

Ft Bridger

First of all I just want to say "Yeah! Mikey is home!" (At least for now:)) He's been gone since last Thursday in North Dakota on a job and helping cover their shop up there. We sure did miss him!! He actually did come home Monday night, as I was getting off work. He came in, showered, packed clean clothes, I got a smooch, and headed out the door on another job. I'm so glad that he likes his job. I'm happy when he's happy. Me and Lincoln had some fun though; it was alright. He got home yesterday (Friday). Yeah! It was actually Mike's days off, but they needed him up there. We were planning on him watching Linc while I worked this week and last. I'm so lucky I have great friends here to watch him last minute! I had to work quite a bit this week. Lincoln has been a trooper. I'm so glad he's not in that Stranger Danger stage yet! He's just whatever!

He's getting to be such a big boy. He can sit up by himself for about 10 sec now. He thinks he's just the cutest thing!

Linc and his Uncle Ty

He's gonna be a soccer player just like his daddy!

And thinks that's just great!

Mommy's little sweetie

I didn't have to work the Saturday before last so me and Linc packed up and spent the day at Ft. Bridger. It's about a 45 min drive. My parents, Ty, and Daniel were there. Anna showed up later. It was a small little thing they were doing at the Ft that weekend. My family does a lot of Civil War reenactments and rendezvous. Me and Linc would have dressed up too, but I didn't even think about it. But we had fun just hangin out and we both got some good sun. It was the longest Linc had been outside so far. I also took Linc into the museum there. Just FYI, don't touch the display manikins! The alarm will sound! Oops!

They are some friends of my fam's. She is 5 years old and is excellent on the fiddle. I thought it was amazing!

Aw, so cute:)

When we got home w/Linc's red little cheeks

It was a pretty busy few weeks, but it was fun to hang out w/just me and Linc. He's such a chunk! And he finally rolled over. He did when he was 3 months for a few days, then quit. Now he is rolling from back to front. Which is so funny because he hates to be on his tummy a lot, so when he rolls on it he screams after a bit. I think it's funny because he does it himself, but he looks at you like, Rude!

Mike was gone for Father's Day, but we got to talk to him on the phone and I emailed some pictures. He sure is a wonderful Daddy; we love him so much!

It was great! Last Sunday Toni and Nathan watched Linc all day. They must have had lots of fun, because when I brought him home, this kid was out for more than 3 hours on the couch! He woke up for about an hour, and slept all night. He was exhausted! I just love sleeping babies!!

Bath Time!

Mommy and Lincoln saying Hi to Daddy!

He just can't get enough of his toes.

While Mike was gone I decided to go to my parents for just a couple days. We just hung out and played. I also was in such a crazy mood to shop! It was fun. I also am so so happy! Lincoln has had the same blue used to be soccer ball binky forever. It's the only one he will take. (That's why in almost every picture it's the same one!) Nana (my grandma) got it at a dollar store for my baby shower. So I finally went to one in Utah and found them! It was a feel good moment:) So I bought 3 more soccer ones and 2 baseball ones. We are prepared!

We went to Ty's Posse practice. Lincoln sure did like the horses. He just kept smiling that them when we got close. I grew up w/them, so it's weird that now I'm scared of them. I was so nervous watching little kids riding them everywhere! I haven't let Lincoln on a horse yet w/someone, but I will one day... After that Anna and I went to Golden Spike and played a softball game w/Daniel. They needed 2 extra girls. I was so darn nervous! I haven't played in forever! But it turned out to be way fun. It's making me want to go play again!

It was a fun couple weeks, but I am so happy that Daddy is home!!!

Lincoln didn't like the metal spoon I was using and wouldn't eat, so I fed him w/my finger. It worked.

He's such a darling little boy:)

Grandma w/Linky

Sunday: June 22, 2008 Same suit, just w/out the jacket today. And his new binky; it's so weird that it's not blue!

We sure do love our little man.
