Random

Auri got a giant ouchie. I don't remember now what happened (awesome parenting), but it looks sad. She might even just be wearing a giant bandaid because it's cool, I never know with this girl.

Brand new Baby Charlotte

Utah Fans!

This beautiful little girl and her big brother just memorized ALL the Articles of Faith. It was some hard work and a lot of FHE's, but we did it! These two are amazing. And my girl is so precious in this photo. (Sorry Linc! I couldn't find your picture!)

Auri's picture from her nursery class. Adoreling!!
I just want to give all three of these babies a big fat hug!!!!

These two littles did karate for about 3 or 4 weeks. Yeah, we are those parents. It was just too crazy driving them and waiting. Dropped out. And the kids didn't love it. Sequoia liked it more than Lincoln. I think they were bummed because it was more structured than they thought it would be. They just wanted to FIGHT! ;-)

This is what happens when Mom's at work and Daddy has the kids for dinner:)

Hey Mom, just making my own food, don't worry about me!
Ah... my favorite moments!
A BEE!!!

Mom while I was in Vegas for the week doing my Mammo schooling.
Haha! This is what happens when I sit down. Out! Thanks Dad for the lovely picture. But I sure do love these moments with the kids, even if it's in front of the TV.

October Visitors!!

~Grandma and Grandpa Phister came to visit us! We LOVE having visitors!! They came over General Conference weekend so we got to enjoy listening to our prophet, doing some puzzles, and getting some rest. After conference Saturday, Mike and I went on a double date with my parents (while my friend Kaymi watched the kids). It was quite enjoyable. We saw "The Martian" (snore) then got a quick bite to eat at Costa Vida. It was nice to go out with my parents and not have the kids running around creating stress:)

They came back the next morning and we watch the first Sunday session before they hit the road home. I just love it when we get to spend time with grandparents.

~Annie helped me can apples for the first time ever!

~Koban came and stayed a week with us while Tenille and Jon were at Lake Powell. We get him almost every year they go and it's always so much fun for the cousins to get together. I love it because I get to spend time with my nephew before he grows up and doesn't want to be with us anymore ;-) And if I remember right, he was sick, again, while he was with us. Poor kid. But we still had fun!

~Aw... the many emotions and personalities of our Aurora.  And the first time I french braided my hair all by myself. (Don't mind the silver streaks in there!)

~Anna and Cory came the weekend after Grandma. I told Anna if she started doing Pampered Chef, I'd host a party if she came down. I always love visitors! This time they came down, I really really really tried to be calm and chill. I did much better than last time. I don't know why, but I want everyone to have so much fun and be happy while they are in my home, it turns out that it's not as fun because I'm so stressed about them being happy! In their face. Sorry Anna. I know I already said it, but I'll do even better next time. I love visitors so so much I can't leave them alone! ;)

~My coffee table project! My friend Shelly Harris gave me this table. She is amazing. Mike especially loves it because it folds up to a higher table. It's his gaming table ;)  I decided to take on the project of painting. I'm in love with it. Of course I love black and white!  I loved having this little project to jump into. I need to do it more often. Crafting projects are my therapy.

~Sleeping Beauty. My favorite moments.

Back to School!!

~First Day of School! I love these 2 students and my toothbrusher! I thought it would be a little bitter-sweet because both Lincoln and Sequoia would be in school all day long. :(  Nope! It was just sweet! I was so excited to be able to get a full day alone with my crazy little. They were so excited. There bus stop was moved this year so it's further away, but they're loving the independence they got when I let them walk all by themselves every once in a while. (Our school boundaries actually changed and we aren't technically in Horizon any more, but because they are in the Chinese program we got to stay, and they still bus them! Woot woot!)

~For FHE, Mike created this magnetic board for their homework and chores. It's been working fabulously. They get so excited to "move their magnets." And if they get it all done before 7pm, they get a quarter:)

~The Goodman family way of roasting marshmallows and making smores!

~Sequoia and Aurora got to hold a little "Pocket Pet" from Australia. It was too expensive to take home, but good enough to hold for a couple minutes;)

~This is a picture of an awesome entertainment center my friend gave me! They last minute found out they had to move across the country so she was giving away a ton of stuff and called me because she knows how much I love it. It was a thrill! Until Mike told me I couldn't have it because our house is too small. Shattered. But then Annie said she would be willing to store it in her house until we move into something bigger one day. Woohoo!

~Lincoln is awesome. I love that boy so much. He was so proud of his GIANT zucchinis he picked from Grandma Phister's garden.

~And one of our trips to Ogden, we all played outside with all the cousins. We love being at the Phister Phamily Pharm! Especially when Kiki comes to visit from Texas!
