K so I'm sitting in sacrament meeting with Linc trying to hold him still, and all the sudden Mike sat by me! Yeah! He's home! I was so happy. Lucky him we were at church and he didn't get a whole bunch of smooches! I think he planned it;) I always love having him here and around. He's been so good with Linc already, getting up in the morning with him and letting me sleep in for a bit. Such a sweetie!

I had yesterday and have today off, wahoo! It's so much fun to be at home get to play with this cute little guy. And get this house clean! It's a never ending job.

So once again, crazy week. What's new? Mike left Friday morning early to go to Alaska for a job out there. The way things are looking, he probably wont be home until Sat give or take. (We miss you sweetie!) But we did have a pretty fun week before with him! He took most of his days off and we got to go catch more Crawdads and have everyone over to eat them. We went to some friends for dinner, and had a bunch of people here for dinner.

Mike was a good daddy and got to stay home and play with Linc a few days last week before he had to leave while I was at work. I had Wednesday off (wahoo! first time during the week!) so we got up bright and early, I don't know how, and went to the rec center and played wolleyball with some friends. It was ok. I'm not too much into sports anymore. Oh and I got smacked in the face with the ball with my eyes open. Ouch! Yeah I decided not the funnest sport. But it is fun to get out and play with Mike. His finger still hurts, but he's been doing much better.

I am just rambling on! I'm so darn tired; it's a little after 11pm. Every night I'm exhausted by the end of the day! I'm beginning to see the reasonings behind Dads going to work and Moms being at home. It's VERY rough! The house is never ending messy, the diet is Dr Pepper and noodles, and I'm not the happiest anymore. Geesh Raquel! Complain some more! Ok one more, and I miss Mike!

So on a happier note, I took Linc to the Dr yesterday. He is doing good, other than he is only in the 15th percentile for weight, 18.2 lbs, and 25th perc for height, 28 in, ( I forgot to ask about head, but it's 46 and something something...) I hate to admit it, but is becoming more like his mom when it comes to eating habits. Picky, picky, picky!!! Boys are supposed to be tough, big, and strong, come on Linc!! But other than that he's right on track.

He's trying to walk with his toys, highchair, pretty much whatever he can push along.

Hello Close-up!!

We have a couple visitors here this week and pretty much until whenever they find a place. Nate and Derrick just moved up here to work with Mike at Weatherford. It's been fun having some friends staying with us. Even though they are probably going to go crazy with all the Gilmore Girls Bonnie and I watch. I just feel bad this house is awful right now. That is my goal tomorrow, Clean the house!!!

(Before Mike left) We were getting Linc ready to go fishing with us out in the cold. The suit is a little too small. The video was so funny! We are mean parents to laugh at our little boy!

It's been a great week and a grouchy grumpy week, it just depends on the hour:) I know you have to love life and enjoy every minute possible, but I'll be honest, sometimes it's not that easy. Mike and I keep finding ourselves saying, "As soon as this is over, then we can relax..." I'm so excited to soon go back to part-time, but I need to be happy now, so they say...

He is one silly kid. The toilet paper is now a big toy for him. The boy's got skill when he can climb over both toys and that big gap. He makes me laugh.

Mike got home that last Sat and got to play with us for 6 hours and went back out on another job. I know it seems like that's all our life is, Mike gone, but it really is ok. He is out right now also, but should be home by the beginning of the week and have a week off! Yahoo! I'm so excited to see him lots! I hope he's doing good out there...

I've been awful! When I get home from work all I want to do is sit and relax, of course after Linc goes to bed, and watch my shows. I got the 4th season of Greys and have to watch it. And by the way, love the 5th that's just starting. And Desperate Housewives, seriously even better! Bonnie came over today and we watched our Gilmore Girls for seriously 31/2 hours while I did the laundry of almost every piece of clothing in our house I swear.

Mike's friends, Derrick and Nate, are moving out here to Green River. They are going to work with him at Weatherford. Derrick stayed with us a couple nights with his darling dog (ok huge dog). It's kind of fun having friends come out here with us. We STILL haven't met Nate's wife and I'm so excited to.

My parents, the twins, and Ty all came out last Sunday during conference. It was so fun to have them here and get to see Lincoln and do a fun puzzle. My mom got him the cutest little dog outfit for Halloween. At first we thought it was a bear until we saw the long tail. It'll be a fun Halloween (not that we do anything anyway).

Lincoln is finally crawling for realsies! He was doing that cute little army crawl forever and now decided to do it "the real way." It's actually been pretty good for him to go to a few different homes lately. I can see the different things he learns with them and he gets to play with other little kids. Hopefully he wont be too much of a mommas boy:)

And... I just now got off the phone with Mike (it's 11:42pm) and he's done with the job. Yeah! They are going to stay in some town a few hours away from here (I don't any towns around here) and get some sleep before coming the rest of the way. We get to see him tomorrow! Plus, while I was on the phone, a friend called and now I get to give a sunday school lesson tomorrow. Let's see how prepared I can be!

I miss you Mike!!!

Mike is still North Dakota and we are sure missing him. He ended up having to do another job while he's out there, and may possibly do another one. We'll see in a few days... We miss you Daddy!!

Lincoln started pulling himself up on things yesterday. The tub, couch, coffee table (which has now been moved to the bedroom, too many ouchies), pretty much everything. He's growing way too fast! Which is why I decided I either want another baby, or a puppy! What do you think Mike??? You know you love me:)

Tonight was my first day off during the week in the last 31/2 weeks! Wahoo! It was so so so wonderful to take a nap during the day! We ran some errands and went to visit Candace and the new little baby. Tucker is a darling! It was so fun to be with Lincoln all day long. I sure miss my little guy (and my big guy!)
