Aurora and Sequoia were sick with yucky nose, cough and some projectile vomiting from Auri the week before Christmas. It was a bummer week. I'm so glad everyone was feeling better by the time Christmas rolled around. Auri was NOT a happy camper while she was sick. She cried and cried and cried. Yeah.
Mike had to go to Denver for a few days right before we went out of town for the holidays. (He would have been home a day earlier but it was so windy on the roads while he was coming home in Cheyanne and almost spun off the road, so he stayed in Cheyanne over night. So happy he's safe yet still love Wyoming:) We opened our Christmas presents right when he got home, packed the rest of our stuff, and left for St George that Friday afternoon. It was nice to open some gifts before so we didn't have to pack them with us. The kids each got a Leap Pad cartridge (Phineas & Ferb and Olivia) and some board games. The Leap Pad games were PERFECT for the road trip! And we found out that Aurora is great in the car traveling. She woke up every 3 hours to eat, but other than that, silent. We were very grateful!
We got to my parents house almost midnight and crashed. Then Nana's family Christmas party was at Gorge and Julie's church (Daybreak) on Saturday. We went and spent some time with everyone there. It was fun to chat with my cousins I never get to see. We left the party a bit early and took off for St George for Christmas. A ton of driving, but so fun to see both Grandparents!

The munchkins getting ready for bed and listening to Grandpa read them a bedtime story.
Grandma had the magic touch with this little one. She finally stopped crying:)
She looks just like Sequoia here! Big eyes!
All the big cousins got to have a sleepover almost every night. It made for one crazy week!
On Wednesday, the day after Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids so Mike and I could go to the temple and do some sealings. It was a special time with my sweet husband. I'm very grateful we are members of the church and are worthy to be able to enter Heavenly Father's house, especially together. Best date I could ask for:)
We were going to go back to my parent's on Thursday, but there was a big snow storm that came through almost all of Utah, so we stayed another day. It worked out nice because Mike let me go out shopping all by myself for a few hours, then he went out and played with his friends that night. Worth the extra night. We love spending time and playing games with family:)
