G & G Goodman Visit!

Grandma and Grandpa Goodman got to come out and play at our house June 15 to 19. It was so much fun to have them here! We went to eat, got to go bowling (first time for the kids, and it was galactic bowling, so they were a little freaked out with all the lights and noise), and Mike and Grandpa got a bunch of projects done around the house.  Good times:)

Mike and Grandpa met up with us a bit later after they ran some errands.  It was much funner with Daddy around.  As soon as he showed up, they were excited to play.

One of their projects: painted the deck (ignore plastic:)  It looks so much better!

They replaced the screen in the sliding door, and Grandpa made the kids their own handle they could reach, instead of the big hole they were using as the handle.

One of my projects I got done a few days after they left while Mike was at Cub Scouts:

After!  I Mod Podged scrapbook paper to the back of the bookshelf.  Cheap and easy and it looks so much better!  And it was kind of fun:)
