All week I have been planning on updating this blog, then I don't have so darn much to write about. But I have everything going on that I don't ever get the time! And when I do miraculously get the time, I read Breaking Dawn! So fun! I already feel like 2 or 3 weeks have gone by, I'm exhausted!

It's been a great week! (Yeah!!) We started our week off playing with 3 other kids at our house on Monday. We had Keegan, my neighbor's little boy across the street, and Aysia and Dempsee, who are two of the most beautiful girls in the world. It actually turned out pretty fun. It kept me on my toes all day long, but it was good. It definitely made me think twice about having another baby soon. And I realized how easy Lincoln really is! I should do this more often so I can appreciate my little guy more.

On Tuesday the girls got to come back and play with us! It was an even better day. We played at the house, then got to go to the park, have lunch, and play in the sand. It's actually pretty fun having bigger kids around that can talk and play more, not that I don't love love love having Lincoln around too! While the little ones took a nap after we got home, me and Aysia got to color for a while, and I had so much fun doing that! I really was a little sad when it was time for them to go home.

Lincoln has never been in the sand before, so of course he had to test it out and see what that was all about.

Hi Mommy:)

Mike has been working a lot this week, really?! He left Sunday night late to head out for a job. So far we've been pretty lucky with his work schedule that he's only had to work a few Sundays. It's always nice to have him there with us:) This job ended up not being the funnest for him. They had to go "fishing" for the tools (not the fun fishing), so he ended up staying out on the site until Thursday morning. Poor Mikey! Of all that time he spent out there, he got 7 hours total of sleep!!! I have a new found respect for my man. I could never do that! When they found out they were going to have to stay longer, me and Linc got to meet him out in the middle of nowhere about an hour or so from GR and bring him food, clothes and a big fat smooch. It was so good to see him!!!

They have movies for kids at the theater all summer, so Wednesday morning me and Linc decided to go. We met Marlene and the girls and also Toni and Grant there. It was pretty fun. As soon as I got home I got the call from Mike and rushed to take him his stuff. I loved getting to see him in the middle of the job. It makes it easier.

We didn't have young womens on Wednesday night, so me and Bonnie planned a girls night at Toni's, thank you so much Toni! It was so much fun! I love my friends here! I've really enjoyed living out here. There was a bunch of girls who didn't get to make it, but it really turned out well. Toni had the cutest decorations/food! We chatted and chatted all night. We watched Penelope in between talking. We ended up staying and just chatting until almost 3am!! I loved every minute! Except for when my alarm went off at 5:30am!!! We had a breakfast for the young women and their mothers that morning at 6:30am. Me and Bonnie were so stinkin tired! But it was well worth it and I can't wait to get together again!

Trevor and Linc were the only kids, I'm so glad they had each other. Actually, Trevor's dad works with Mike and they were on the job together. So I was glad Candace and Trevor could come over with us.

Grant is too big for this now, and Lincoln loved it so much, so Toni let him bring it home and play with it for a while. Thanks!

Mike left again Friday morning, first to the shop, then left for a job somewhere in the middle of nowhere Utah. I was so happy and surprised when he got home Sat evening. So soon, yeah!! I'm awful at going outside and mowing, weeding, all that rubbish. I should because he's hardly ever here. Anyways, he did when he got home and I appreciate it so much! Thanks sweetie!

Friday I took Linc into the Child Development Center for his physical therapy, which all is well. While we there there I went ahead and got his vision and hearing screenings done. Hearing is great. Have to wait for vision. Saturday was another early morning. I took Lincoln to Codee's, Aysia and Dempsee's mom, house at 6:45am. She watched him while I went to Vernal with the stake Relief Society to the temple there. I had never been to that temple before. It is beautiful! It reminds me of Logan's. Like a castle:) I felt so guilty going without Mike, esp because he's never been there either, but I'm really glad I went. It was a wonderful experience. I'm so grateful to be living out here and to have great friends that are so willing to watch Lincoln for us and to just have a good time with.

Mike had to go into the shop after church today. He didn't get home till after 11pm. He's such a good hard worker. I am so blessed to be his wife. While he was gone my friend Bonnie came over for visiting teaching. Her "visiting teaching" lasted from 3:30pm until after 9:30pm. I loved it! We ended up watching a movie and just chatting forever. Unexpected! I just thought Mike would come home soon, so I lost track of time. Anyways, obviously it's getting pretty late, I'm rambling again... I love you Mikey:)

Grumpy Guts

This week wasn't the best ever as I had wanted. Oh well! Of course it was too good to be true, Mike had to go out on a job Wednesday night. He got home later Thursday night. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so it's alright! He's been on call the rest of the week, but didn't get called out, so it was nice to have him home. He went out shooting one day and had some friends over one night for some steaks (what else?!) and some other friends on a different night for, that's right, steaks. It's alway fun to have people over, especially because I clean good before. And now that I think of it, we had some other friends over last Sunday evening. Steaks! Needless to say, we are finally out.

I was sitting there talking to Mikey after he got home from the job and I looked up at him, and he was out. Poor sleepy man!

Late one night one of the nights we had people over, I had just gotten home from work and missed this little man. So I sneaked into his room and got him out of his snuggly bed. He doesn't really look like he wants to be there, but I wanted him to be:)

Mike got to stay home one day and play with Lincoln while I went to work one evening. He sure loves his daddy! Every time Mike walks into the room or just looks at him, Linc gets a huge smile on his face. Not for Mommy though, I'm old news already.

All I've done pretty much all this week is clean clean clean!! Saturday was a really good cleaning day for us. Mike did so much around the house. Thank you so much! We were exhausted by the end of the day. But by all the pictures, the house definitely needed it!! It was also my last week working for my cute little lady. I worked 3 nights this week. So now I'm just waiting on the mail to get my license for Wyo. Whenever I get that I'll start at the hospital. It's so nice to get a week or two off! I'm so excited to just play with Linc!

Lincoln. Man it's been a crazy week with him! Wait, I've been crazy this week with him. He has woke up in the middle of the night every day this week! Yes I know babies do that, but I'm not used to it! I've been so grumpy! And he has this whine thing going throughout the day. I hope he's teething, because then this will just be temporary. We'll see. It's just been a crazy week for all 3 of us! Hopefully things will settle down.

Eventful Week

Mikey! I'm so excited you are coming home soon! I also love that you can get this while you're gone. I'll try to keep in touch better. Most of these pictures are for you. We are going to have so much fun this week. Maybe even go to Lagoon??

Hi Daddy!!!

I don't even know where to begin! So much has been going on! I guess first of all, I pick my little man up from Grandma and he's a crawler (more like a scooter)! We joked about that when I dropped him off, but alas! It's fun to get to see him do new things. They must have spoiled him because now he freaks out when I take something away from him and when I leave the room. Grandma! But he's also such a busy body now! It's crazy crazy how much he's changed in just one week! Oh man did I miss him! I was doing great until the day I was going to pick him up! I'm sure I will again, but I don't want to leave him that long again! Now I understand and feel bad when Mike says Linc looks so different when he doesn't see him for a week at a time.




I know it's lame! We don't have a video cam, so best I could do...

It figures that it works out this way... Mike was home while I was gone. Just working at the shop in RS. He hung out with some friends and around the house. Then the day before I come home, he went out on a job and has been there ever since. We are hoping he'll be home tomorrow sometime!! Fingers crossed! He's such a great hard worker; we are so happy with him:)

I left for girls camp Tuesday at noon. I knew it would be exhausting, but not that much! But it was so much...

K strangest thing ever! In the middle of writing, Nana called me almost in tears and told me a tornado was on it's way to Green River, WY. Crazy!! She said to hurry and get into the basement. I only have a crawlspace. (Thank you so much Nana. I love you very much.) My friend Toni and Grant were coming over to watch a movie in about 15 min, so I called her and me and Linc ended up going to her house to watch it in her basement. It was fun to hang out, but kind of scary. Toni looked on internet and saw that the tornado touched down about 9 miles from our house. I swear everything always happens when Mike is gone, but don't worry Mike! I'm tough:) Sorry for the interruption.

...fun and well worth it! I felt like a mother to my 11 girls in my unit. I got to play all the activities and do everything with them. Everyone kept telling me, "I thought you were one of the girls!" I hope I still do in 20 yrs!:) We did a Faith Walk (which was my fav thing), went on a hike, did a skit (that I made up about princesses, of course!) crafts, songs, games, and froze at night! I ended up staying in my tent alone, which was so nice, but freezing! I seriously almost went home the first night I was so darn cold! One of the speakers was Miss Utah. Her cousin is one of my young women. She is awesome. She is also a soldier. I enjoyed her talk so much, and she's beautiful! I couldn't help but stare. Anyways, I love my girls in my ward! There are only 3 active! We had good bonding time. Now i feel so spiritually uplifted! It was a wonderful time. But now I'm so happy to be home.

So, I got a new job. I'm going to start at the hospital as a Radiographer as soon as I get my license to practice in Wyoming in the mail, which will take a few weeks. I felt so guilty not doing what I went to school for, so I finally went in. I'm pretty excited. I hope it's a good schedule. I'm working "casual part-time" which I think will be fill-in. We'll see. I'm sad to be away from Lincoln, but for right now I feel this is what I need to do at the moment. This is my last week at my current job. I will miss her.

Lincoln had so much fun at Grandmas. He learned so many new things. I'm glad they got to be with him and play. I met my parents in Evanston and picked him up from there. It was really weird seeing him again for the first time. I just can't explain it. I had to work Sat and still missed him so much, but we've had fun today playing. I also had to speak in Sacrament Meeting today. We had a little young womens program. I LOVE the feeling you get as your walking back to your seat after you've just finished! What a rush:) So, after all this busyness, it's so nice to just sit here and hang out for a bit.

Oh yea!! So right before I left to go to Toni's, I noticed a package on the door step. I grabbed it and took it w/us and opened it there. Mike bought me a new camera!! Wahoo!! (And no worries, this can totally be my Christmas for the next 2 years!!)
