"As is"

K so Marlene did this "As is" thing on her blog and dared someone to do it too, so here you go! It's scary!! (it's a bit different, but whatever)

#1 Me right now...

#2 Lincoln right now...

I can't help getting lots of messy face pictures; just way too cute!

And today we finally started on fruits! He's been a champ with vegies, just hope it stays that way! (If not we are definitely mixing, thanks Kim G!)

#3 (rooms) The dining area now... (post girls camp, yuck!)

...

Living room now...

Mike's room, new Lincoln storage room...

...

Lincoln's room now... This is all the stuff that my friend gave us. No i haven't had time to do anything with it.

#4 The Fridge Yep Mike! That's right! I bought a Dr Pepper yesterday! I wanted it! I'm not supposed to buy soda for the house anymore. When it's in the house, that's all he drinks. I'll just have to drink it all tonight before you get home, I wont mind:)

#5 Our closet

#6 My favorite shoes

#7 The toilet

#8 The kitchen sink

#9 The Laundry Room/Closet in the Kitchen

#10 My dream vacation... ??? A cruise, I don't care where as long as it's some place hot...

No judging! Me and Mike are having a cleaning party this week. I was going to hurry and clean it all before he got home, but I decided to do the blog instead. I played with Linc, it was a good day:)

No Lincoln:(

Happy Birthday to both Grandma Goodman and Grandpa Phister! Their birthdays are like 4 days apart! We love you both very much!:) Lincoln really does have the best Grandparents!!

Linc loves his new little toy!

I should have gotten one of these a long time ago!

So my friend is done having babies and she called me to come check out all her baby stuff she had. K Christmas!! She gave us so many cute boy clothes of all ages and all kinds of cool things. I'm so excited and so so grateful! My friend Shilayna came over (she's pregnant) and we went through them and had so much fun!

The Jumper chair and this rocking chair were from my friend. I love love this chair! It's wonderful!!

I have girls camp tomorrow and was planning on taking Linc to my mom's today, but Tenille called Friday night late and said our friend was having a baby shower the next day. So I hurried and packed up pretty much Linc's whole room and we left Sat morning to Utah. Lincoln now gets to stay a few extra days at Grandmas! They are excited to have him there, so it makes it easier to let him go. I came home Sat night late because Mike had just gotten home that day, so we have been babyless for 2 days now! It's been so weird! It's nice to run all my errands without feeding, changing, whatever. And it feels like Mike and I are just dating all over again! But I sure do miss my little man! I'm already excited to hold him again! But for now I'm enjoying this new found freedom:)

Tenille put a little Fireman hat on him...

Tenille and Linc

Linc and most of Teresa, Tenille's friend

He is a FREAK about puppies! This is Blue, Tenille and Jon's dog. Linc was laughing and laughing at him. But of course Blue is like "Save me!!"

Mommy and sweet drooly Linc

We love you Linky Stink and miss you so much! We hope you are having so much fun with your Grandparents, aunts, and uncles. When your not around, we realize how lucky we are to have you in our lives. BIG SMOOCH!!

Private Time

Ok ok, I've put it off long enough! It's time we go private on the blog. So if anyone even reads it, send me your email and I'll add ya on, if not, no harm done:) Thanks!

Scariest Blog Award:)

K I think it is so funny that our blog is the dark and twisty one! I look at others and they are bright and sunshine with lots of bows and ribbons. We love red and black, but the more I look at it, it's just too dark. I'll make mine cute one day, I'm just too lazy to mess with it. So until then, whatever!

Oh and thank you so much creator of Baby Einstein! We love you in this household! I swear Lincoln is so funny watching that! He's eyes are glued the whole time! It's only like 20 or so min long, so no harm done once a day! Plus, I got a huge surprise Tuesday night after work! I got home and there was a Baby Einstein dvd collection book sitting there on the coffee table! I freaked out! There are 26 dvds in it! Thank you so much Mike! I don't know who's going to love them more... me, Mike, or Linc!

He just stares while he's watching his show.

Every time the little blonde girls come on he freaks out and giggles. I love it!

I've been wanting to watch the Star Wars series for so long now! The library had them so we've been watching them together. It's been fun! I'm a Star Wars freak! Thanks for watching them with me Mikey! It's one of my favorite things in life is to sit and cuddle with my sweetie.

So Mike left on Monday evening for a job and came home Tuesday morning! It was the fastest job yet! I was so excited! I had to work Tues, so he got to play with Marlene and her girls for the evening. They went to the park; it looked fun. The stake just started co-ed softball so Mike took some friends with him and played with them. He said it was way fun. I want to play so bad! Hopefully some days will work out! I'm so glad he got to go! Later that night at 11pm, seriously, Mike's friends, Brandon and Ryan, came over and we had a BBQ. It was fun, but we were so tired later! And this was the first night we've ever had trouble getting Lincoln to bed. Weird. (Yes I know we've been spoiled) He screamed and screamed! Maybe teething?? I don't know...

Ha ha! Lincoln! You look like a girl!!

Marlene and Linc

Linc's "big sisters" a couple times a week, Janae and Addyson

I love how they adore him!

Marlene said that Linc just loved the wood chips he's sitting in; he thought it was the coolest thing.

Playing

First of all... Congratulations to Scott and Christine! They are engaged! I'm so so so darn excited to get another sister! And she is such a sweet girl! I couldn't have picked a better girl for him! The date is November 7. (And it's a plus, we get to go to St G again before Christmas!) We just can't be happier for them!! :)

And Lincoln too!!! ;-)

It's been such a great week. Mike had to go into the shop Monday morning, but other than that he's been home since last Friday, yea!! We've had so much fun with him. I had to work a bunch last weekend so Mikey got to play with Lincoln a lot. So this week me and Linc are trying to let Mike go play as much as he can so he can get a little break before going back to work.

My parents got us a grill for a graduation gift. I love it! So we've been eating more meat lately. Finally! I'm not the best cook, so Mike hardly ever gets protein. I'm trying to do better. For "home teaching" we had my friend Toni, her brother, and little Grant over for hamburgers. I had to go visiting teaching in between, but later we all went to the ten pm show. Nathan, her husband, got to make it too! (With both Mike's and Nathan's schedule, we hardly ever get to hang out all together at once.) We saw The Dark Knight. So good! I was impressed! Man I was so tired the next morning though! I had to work at 7am, but it was definitely worth it.

I finally got out the highchair. We'd been using the little green chair we have, but it's time for the big one. Linc looks tiny in it! And thank you so much to the girls at IMC hospital for getting it for us! Especially LaRee!

Mike has been out shooting, fishing, whatever he can do while he's off. It's been good for him. So Thursday Linc and I went to Utah to pick up some steaks at Sizzler. Tenille is the GM there and we got a great deal. Thank you so much! We hung out there for a while and chatted, then went over the Tyson and Danielle's for bit to see them and little Cade. He is getting so big! He's only 2 months younger than Linc. I'm so happy Linc is going to have a friend to play with! It was good to see them.

Aunt Tenille with Linc. K and he could so be her little boy! Everyone there thought so. I think it's crazy! (Sorry bout the cut-off! My camera is lame, but it still gets the job done, whatever.)

I can't believe how fast Cade grew! He was so so small last time I saw him. He's almost caught up to Linc.

Lincoln loves babies! He was just laughing and giggling when he saw Cade. We set them down by each other and Linc attacked!!

We stayed the night at my parents house that night. They are at the Indian Wars this week, but the twins were there. It's been fun. You can never go to Utah without eating at Costa Vida or Cafe Rio (same thing basically). So me, Linc and the twins went to CV (my fav of the two!) and it was delicious! We just sat around and chatted all day back at the house; it was pretty fun to get to spend time with them. Anna played with Linc while I laid out in the beautiful sun, then brought him out so he could play in water a bit. My little brother Ty (he's 13) just bought himself a huge pool, I love it!

Mike went camping that Thursday night with his friends and pulled an all nighter fishing. He came home, slept for a while, then went out again shooting this time. I'm so glad he has friends he can go out and play with all the time. When Mikey is happy, I'm happy:) I love it here in Green River and love all the friends we have made. I wouldn't mind raising our kids here in this sleepy little town.

Silly Linky! Just loves to eat those piggies!

Lincoln is getting so fun! I'm liking this stage much more. He can finally sit up without any help for a long time. I love it because it keeps him entertained for a while. Yea! It's so funny; he rolls around all over the place and when comes to something like the wall or his highchair or whatever, he keeps trying to roll into it. He gets so frustrated! He comes away with battle scars. It's just so funny that he doesn't think to roll the other way yet. When Toni came over she was like "What did you do to him!?" He's so silly!

He hates his vegies! I've tried all of them now, nope! Especially not sweet potatoes! I make him eat them, but he's not a fan. No fruit until you like vegies, sorry Lincoln! And I know he doesn't know what he's saying, but he says "Da da, da da, da da..." all the time now. It's so darn cute!

One of many "battle scars;" he'll learn:)

We are loving being Lincoln's Daddy and Mommy:)

We miss you Daddy!

Our Lincoln

We have had a fun little week for the most part. Me and Linc have been running lots of errands, taking walks, going to meetings, all kinds of stuff. I was going to complain, but nobody wants to here that! It's been fun with my little man. We just sure miss our Mikey! He came home Tuesday night. Yea! But only for the night and lunch the next day and needed to go back to the site. "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!" Hopefully he'll be home tomorrow. It's a good thing he likes his job. When Mike is happy, we are happy:)

I've been busy trying to get things ready for girl's camp with the girls in my unit. I'm getting excited for it! Although I'm a very clean person; we'll see how the whole camping thing goes! At least I won't have a little man attached to my hip. No offense Linc! Tuesday night before Mike came home we went to a girl's night at Marlene's. It was way fun! We need them more often. I always ramble when it gets this late! But this is becoming my favorite time to stay up and do whatever I want to do all by myself. All week I've been going to bed after midnight. I'm way tired in the morning, but it's definitely worth it.

I'm so grateful he's such a happy little guy!

Yes he's still in his pajamas! I'm that kind of mom sometimes!

Lincoln's Physical Therapist and a family cousellor lady came to our house today. It was nice to not have to go to the center for a change. They worked with Lincoln a little while and checked out his head. It is getting better. Yea! I'm hoping one day it's going to be a perfect shape again and he wont resent us the rest of his life for having a misshapen head. We didn't know! Sorry Linc!

Peek-a-boo! He got stuck under the blanket while we was rolling around.

Upside Down Hello!!

6 Month Check Up

Flying, Drooling Linky!

My sweet little Mikey. He is just crazy w/work. He came home Thursday night about 10:30 then went to the shop at 8am. One of his co-workers had a BBQ at his house in Rock Springs, so me and Linc went and picked him up and went to that for a few hours (which by the way was delicious! It's definitely time I learn how to cook!) then we dropped him back at the shop. He got home a little after 3am! Busy Busy! I had to work today until 3pm, so him and Linc got to spend some good time together. By about 2pm, he got called out to Colorado again. He took Linc to the shop w/him and I picked him up on the way home. Anyways! I just feel so bad for him. Hopefully he'll get some nice time to be lazy and do absolutely nothing on his next days off, if he gets them. We sure do love you Daddy and miss you very much!

He loves to see that cute little baby in the mirror! (And Hello! I can wash my mirror every once in a while! Ah!)

Me and Linc had a pretty busy week too. You can tell by the look of the house that I haven't been around much. It's not acceptable! I've worked 3 days this week, not too bad. For Enrichment we went to the splash park here in GR. It was way fun to go and hang out in the sun. My friend Marlene has been wonderful w/Linc while I'm at work. I am so grateful for her! She took him w/her after the park while I ran off to work. I hope he's on his best behavior for her!:-I

Lincoln happy at the park

Friday was Lincoln's 6 month check-up. He weighs 16lbs 1oz, a little less than 50%. I was really surprised because I think he's such a chunk! Maybe it's just because his head is huge, it's more than 75%. And he's 27", also 75%. They say he's a tall skinny baby. After the Dr, we went to a Water Park in RS w/some friends. I'm so excited for Lincoln to get bigger so he can play!

Me and Lincoln had some fun tonight. We got to play w/my friend's little kids while their parents were at the movies. Since Mike left today I thought it would be fun to have them over. The little girl is 5 and an excellent cleaner! She was so funny; she came into the house and started cleaning away. We scrubbed and scrubbed and had so much fun. I don't know if I should be embarrassed or what if a 5 yr old notices how messy it is!! I hope my kids will be like that! :)
